lav what do you use to keep your curls defined so nicely? have similar hair but can never get it to look like that...

After a shampoo/condition... I will use a large-toothed comb to put it into place, like side or middle comb, and put a small amount of leave-in conditioner on the ends and the parts that can get frizzy.

Then I let it dry. It's going to look sort of flat at this point, but the less you manipulate it the better. Never, ever use a brush or small-toothed comb.

When dry, carefully run your fingers through your hair, taking heed to not break all the curls apart.
