I'm sure that LeBron's pregnant wife is thrilled. She won't have to worry about him cruising South Beach while she's home fighting nausea and bloating. She probably couldn't wait to get him back to Cleveland and away from so many scantily clad groupie girls. lol

I'm sure she is thrilled, but you know if those ballplayers want to cheat, nothing is stopping them. That's what private jets are for razz

Best wishes to them, anyways.

I really want to think that but I don't, maybe there is doubt about this guy because of some of the decisions that he's made and continues to make.

What other bad decisions has he made. Honestly, I don't follow basketball like that.

In the post that you are referring to, I made no reference at all to Lebron. So, please pay closer attention to what I was saying. I felt that it was weird there because of what appeared to be a backwards mentality. I was out with a group of folks (white and black) and we were all from out of town. Anyway, we walk into a bar and people kept staring at us because apparently they weren't used to seeing whites and blacks kicking it. We weren't at some KKK bar either. This was in the middle of the city!

I was at another function by myself and some random chick walked up to me and said she could tell that I wasn't from there because of how I was dressed. No "hello", No "My name is", this chick blurts out words that clearly proved that she's lived under that Ohio rock for longer than a minute.

Okay, I'm done.

Wasn't just talking to you if you pay closer attention you will see another quote in a qoute and I was also talking about other comments in this thread and speaking in general. You're not the only person who posted in this thread and the story you told sounds like it would've happened in any city or state in the united states not just ohio.My friends are all different colors of the rainbow and I never had a problem hanging out with them in cleveland. Not trying to be all pissy cause I'm a cool guy but I'm just sticking up for my home just like anybody else would. cool

Oh I see, copying my quote, using the word "you" and then creatively paraphrasing what I said, in other words distorting it, wasn't your attempt to address what I said directly. Silly me. It seems that I am the one who misunderstood my own words and you were here to save the day with your awful and highly transparent attempt to refuse to admit that most of what you were saying was non-sensical and that you're drinking the kool aid.

Alright, I'm not going to entertain any of your comments anymore because it's not worth my time. thanks.

Reading comprehension is not only about what is explicitly stated, but what is implied as well.

When you write:

"If this had nothing to do with "basketball", "winning championships", etc. then he would have

STAYED with his team that lost!!! So, think about it. You can't possibly think that this guy is some

kind of hero for going to a losing team when he left a team that had just lost the finals!!!!"

...after I've told you that LBJ is not chasing championships primarily, but feels that he is to

pursue a life's calling, then yes, I am justified in believing that you are not only missing the

big picture of LBJ's return to Cleveland, but that you are implicitly placing a premium on

wins and losses. I teach a literacy program; now while I don't think that one should ever stop

learning, but a reading comprehension course is not one of my needs at the moment. LBJ's

return is not about basketball's championships or staying on his team that lost. LBJ's return

is about the context of basketball as a method of influencing his community in a positive way;

he says as much in his letter. Essentially, what you are doing is implying that LBJ is being

disingenuous in his motives - but who are you to question his reason(s)? You don't play devil's

advocate too convincingly; try harder.

I'll take a Sam Adam's summer ale, thank you.

Sounds jerkish, but like someone pointed out, moving from one losing team to another makes no absolute sense. What possible agenda could be behind it, except he wants to spend more time with his family.

Yeah the video is on youtube. As far as I am concerned, that showed that this "King James" knucklehead is really about. I think the agenda is that he was humiliated by San Antonio and knows that the Spurs are going to be contenders for the next few years. The whole team is good, hell, even the waterboy there is good, LOL!

Don't buy into the "spend time with the family" hype....it's the same thing politicians say when they step down and move on. It's a ploy to get sympathy but in all likelihood, this move is strictly about his pride and his uncanny ability to be disloyal on a dime.

My take on it is I don't have a problem with Lebron returning and being

a winner however I have a huge problem with the owner Dan Gilbert. This fool had the audacity not to only call LeBron a quitter and even accusing him of quitting in the playoffs particularly in one series against Boston all because you didn't like his decision to exercise his right in FREE AGENCY to go play elsewhere as though you had ownership of him like a slave. The fans apparently didn't understand either. Who the hell do you think you are? You don't have ownership rights to nothing. Players leave via free agency every year in all the major sports league so I don't get why people expected LeBron to stay in Cleveland as though he didn't have the right to play where he wanted. Getting back to Gilbert, I respect LeBron's decision and expect him to give 110 percent in winning a title for the city however it wouldn't hurt my feelings if it didn't happen not because of any ill will towards LeBron but because of the disdain I have for Gilbert. He also had the audacity to promise the team will win a title before Lebron will and gloated after the Mavs beat the Heat after the first year. Well we have seen first hand how that has worked out for the Cavs. 3 number 1 picks in four years and they still were bottom feeders in the league. Well deserved for Mr. Gilbert. Fuck you.

That's what I thought. He did not name himself that.

I don't get why people are talking so much smack about him...hell, I'm a Heat fan and he's okay with me. For the most part S. Florida is taking it in stride without a lot of drama. Ive only heard of a couple of incidents.

Everyone has the right to their own opinion including people that you characterize as "haters". Did you ever think that maybe people don't like him because of his arrogance, disrespectful attitude towards real legends like Jordan and how easily he throws teammates and teams under the bus? Sometimes people don't "love" a player based on stats....
