Apparently, millions of women are smitten with this guy who has been all over the news lately for having a "sexy" mugshot. The police in his town posted his mugshot on the police facebook page and the rest was history. What do you all think about this story?
When I first read about this foolishness a few days ago, it wasn't millions of women. It was just a few sad ones. Since then this nonsense has taken on a life of it's own with the media latching onto it like a tick to a dog's ass and portraying women in general as desperate and thirsty as all get out. The real question is WHY?
It's not like this is the first time some women have become enamored with some loser ass jail bird, so why all the sudden interest now? I know damn well it's not about how the guy looks because he's really not all that damn fine based on pictures other than his mugshot. So I'm curious as to what this is really all about?

They were talking about this guy yesterday on Inside Edition. It's amazing how quickly this story got around. I think you're right, the media is kind of exposing women who love these kinds of bad boys. Not coincidentally, Inside Edition also profiled a woman who married a guy who was on death row but later acquitted. I think there are a lot of people that are incarcerated that are the victims of shady cops, prosecutors, judges and/or district attorneys. It's way too easy to fabricate evidence and basically convict the person in the media before they even have a court date. So, I can't judge her for marrying that guy. But, there are some folks who actually committed the crime. The sad part is that the crooks on Wall Street and DC never seem to get arrested and thrown in jail, not unless of course they've pissed off someone in the upper ranks (re: Scott Walker in Wisconsin)
As far as this guy's mugshot goes, maybe it's because he's a light-skinned black guy with blue eyes that makes him kind of an oddity
Oh by the way, the media is also digging up dirt about this guy's mother. Apparently, she has a rap sheet as well. They (media) are going to have a field day with this it seems.

WTF??? This nonsense is about a guy that's been in and out of jail numerous times, since he was 18 - he's only 30 now - on various charges. I never looked at Harvey the same after I saw a bit on this new TV show that he's got going on. He's basically looking for the next Kardashian family. The father of the family (who looks VERY young and is good looking) is an aspiring DJ. Harvey tells the dad that he knows a nightclub owner and set up a gig. The dad arrives at the bar. It's a gay bar and the owner of the place hands the dad a pair of speedos that he HAD TO WEAR in order to do the gig. I don't know if the dad stuffed his speedo but you could tell that he was more than well endowed! I know they do dumb stuff for publicity on shows like this, however, if you pay close attention to the guys that are on TMZ, some of them probably did something similar to get on the show.....
Now I digress...thanks for schooling me about the mugshots being public record. I think if a public citizen put pictures of corrupt police officers on a facebook page, how long would it be before that person disappears?

This guy had another court hearing yesterday and apparently several national TV outlets were there in court. Makes me wonder if they are putting this guy in the "celebrity" wing of the jail until further notice

I'm not sure about pictures but video of corrupt cops is getting more and more commonplace. I forget what city it is but I read somewhere about a city that has even instituted officers wearing mini-video recorders the size of their badges around their necks when on duty and complaints of corruption and abuse has fallen significantly.

I give this guy another week that the public will be interested before he kind of fades away and lands a lengthy jail sentence. I think the only way that he's going to get out of this is if some modeling agency takes a risks and pulls some strings to get him out. So, unless Hollywood throws him a rope, he will probably sink. Apparently his mother (who also has a mile long rap sheet) lowered the donation amount that they were originally asking for. Now, it seems that they have raised about three thousand dollars. $900,000? Damn near a million dollars bail? What the hell did he do, murder someone in cold blood? Oh hell naw, his mess is way too deep then. Ain't that much pretty in the world. I don't see people with real money digging that deep over that big of a screw up, maybe a cartel or somthing like that. That's way more then a simple spit shine job, that's rebuilding a whole sewer system.
