You make such excellent points. Children not only know who they are by the time they are 4 or 5 but we all know aswell. So many then begin to change that child. The quiet child needs to learn to be more outgoing. The future athlete need to learn to sit still and concentrate. We need to honor the child's original soul. We need to admit that whether or not there is a great Creator, we are not it.

Transgender people may be that way because it's the Universes way of saying "Look a little closer". They remind us to use our intuition; to feel aswell as to see and rationalize.

Hmmm...I've heard about that. Allegedly, when Catholic priests put on that fish-mouth hat, it's supposed to represent them putting the prepuce back over the head to symbolize that.

I do hope Jaya gets the needed support with the transition, but it would be naive to say what his father is and what he did to a 14 year old girl didn't play some kind of role in this either, or at least this early in life.
