Gardens r friggin REWARDING!

I thought I would get a kick out of it...but GODDAMN. IT WAS FUCKIN COOL. I've never done a garden b4. But a while ago I started. Green beans, green onion, onions, and cantaloupe.

I'm cooking dinner and I'm almost done. I go to the bean plant I planted, cared for, and maintained and picked some beans. Then I brought them inside and cleaned them. Then I cooked them with some onions and butter in a sautè fashion. Now I am eating them. I had no clue it would FEEL SO FUCKING GOOD. They taste fuckin great too! I'm fuckin ecstatic! biggrin

I hear you! I was so proud of my 2 (yes 2) green peppers that I yielded from my first time garden last year. I swear it was the best tasting ever! This year I planted green beans as well, strawberries, green peppers again, and a herb garden!!

Nothing like the taste of fresh picked greens for a salad or vegetables for cooking. Herbs are great too!

ThankUPrince!

The beans weren't the biggest, most healthy, greenest, or even the tastiest(in all honesty). But they were the 'greatestestest' beans ever in the world according to Chris. Cuz I made them...with the help of nature.

I was able to eat them less than 15 minutes after I picked 'em. In my best Kelso impersonation..."That's AWESOME!

Congratulations!

I love that moment when you notice that tiny sprout peeking its head out of the dirt love

I am growing jalapenos, basil, mint, tomato, watermelon, peas, cucumber, green onion, cantaloupe,
butter lettuce and bell pepper. I swear, the first thing I do when I get home is check on them lol

I am also growing 4 avocado trees, which are gorgeous. I know they won't produce anything for
8+ years, but I enjoy the process.

Pictures to share?
