Presume you are scottish LOL. I have no idea why you guys love revelling when we do badly at football? I would honestly root for both Scotland and Ireland if they had gotten through.

Anyway nooooo! Like against Germany 4 years ago, the second goal we let in was from a friggin' goal kick! Schoolboy defensive error. Shame we didn't play Uruguay first as maybe Suerez wouldn't of played LOL. I think He only had 2 shots on target and scored both of them LOL. Props when props is due. He is a world class player in a very average team. England is a good team with no world class players so there you go....still don't like our manager. Seems to soft to me.....

This is classic LOL.....player didn't even have the ball or in any sort of danger area to score lol

Nah, I'm Dutch.

Germany 7 Brazil 1

Holy God D*** M*****f***** S#!+! omg omfg shocked I knew Brazil was uncharacteristically struggling in this World Cup and was up against it without Neymar, but this was a frickin' massacre. This was the Denver Broncos in the Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks bad. I know Germany is a pre-eminent power in international soccer, but this was absolutely pathetic. I don't think a healthy Neymar would have made a difference in this game. Heck, I don't thing getting Marty McFly's Delorean time machine to go back and get Pele, Romario, and Ronaldo in their prime and granting Tim Howard immediate Brazilian citizenship so he could play goalkeeper would have made a difference in this game. I would not have been surprised to see this result by Gerrmany against Iran, or Bosnia, or even the USA, but against Brazil? In their home country even? This has to be one of the most epic takedowns in sports history. disbelief But congrats to Germany though.

And furthermore, funnily, most nazis who escaped Germany after the war actually went to live in South America, many in Argentina.

So, to put it short, your post is probably one of the worst-informed posts ever.

well, it wasn't pretty, but it wasn't boring, defensive football at its best, the anxiousness, the fear of making a mistake, the horror of the penalties lol

Seriously, though! There are many German-speaking villages in the middle of the jungle full of blonde Müllers and Maiers.

And rumour has it Dr. Mengele actually fled to South America and lived there until the 80s, with a different identity.

I presume iaminparties was joking LOL. If not, then he needs a basic history lesson.

Final doesn't sound tantilizing really. Cannot see Argentina, who have been pretty average, winning this game.

Holland couldn't bring on their penalty specialist keeper like they did for Costa Rica, because manager used all 3 subs (thanks to Van Persie unfortunately).

The dutch keeper was not good during penalties. Sorry, but he looked scared and was poor. Particually the winning goal, which he patted into his own net confused

Anyway, it was a poor match but the final can't be worse surely LOL.

Iam actually still getting over the Brazil result eek . I was actually cheering the Germans when they scored their 4th as it was real car crash tv. Just could not believe how poor Brazil were neutral Never in our lifetime will that happen to Brazil again!

I can't see the germans scoring more than 2 goals, argentina's defense is solid, and if Messi has his night, it could be a NIGHT TO REMEMBER indeed

if I can choose three results, I say

1-0 (germany)

2-2 (and penalties)

2-3 (argentina)

Funny story about the Dutch royal family: In the 1930's Princess Wilhelmina was married off to the German Prince (Bernhard Lippe) who was a very early SS-member and was a Nazi German secret agent.

Wilhelmina and Berhard were Queen and King during WWII.

Their daughter, Beatrix married a German Prince. As far as I know, a very respectable and kind gentleman. Claus von Amsberg. But, I just know about him from the Dutch press. Who has been very favorable for our royals.

Their first born son, now our current King, was married of to an Argentinean lady, Maxima Zorreguetta. Her father was the Minister of the Agricultural department during the Junta.

I've always been a big fan of Beatrix. And I have confidence in our current King and Queen.

But that nazi secret agent line in that family seems a bit creepy.
