Bye bye cunts! lol

Presume you are scottish LOL. I have no idea why you guys love revelling when we do badly at football? I would honestly root for both Scotland and Ireland if they had gotten through.

Anyway nooooooooooooooooo! Like against Germany 4 years ago, the second goal we let in was from a friggin' goal kick! Schoolboy defensive error. Shame we didn't play Uruguay first as maybe Suerez wouldn't of played LOL. I think He only had 2 shots on target and scored both of them LOL. Props when props is due. He is a world class player in a very average team. England is a good team with no world class players so there you go....still don't like our manager. Seems to soft to me.....

This is classic LOL.....player didn't even have the ball or in any sort of danger area to score lol

Argentina 1 Iran 0

So sad for Team Iran. They played such a tight, clean game for 90 minutes, nearly shocking the world, but in the 91st minute it all got.... Messi. giggle

Yes, Iran - Argentina was a very exciting match.

Iran played very well. They dominated the game.

Absolutely crazy how Messi did it again in the extra time!

USA 2 Portugal 2

OMG! omg omfg I was so ready to jump up and down, but then the USA gave up that goal in the final 30 seconds of stoppage time and blew the victory. doh! faint

At least they still got a point out of this. Portugal still needs a miracle to advance to the knockout round though. They have to beat the crap out of Ghana and hope that Germany beats the USA by multiple goals to make up the goal differential. Ghana, on the other hand, still worries me. If Ghana beats Portugal by at least two goals and Germany beats the USA, then the USA will be sent home.

the USA will make it

Portugal will DESPERATELY seek the victory against Ghana, who need the 3 points as well

but even if Ghana wins the match, they still need Germant thrashing the USA (3-0 minimum), which Klinsman won't allow to happen

and Portugal needs a shitload of goals agains Ghana and a major defeat of the USA (3-0, again)

my prediction

Germany 7 points

USA 4 points + goal average

Ghana 2 points

Portugal 2 points

Both Germany and USA could go out with defeat but a draw puts them both through with Germany top. My money's on a scoreless draw followed by a lot of complaints of collusion.

Well, at least the Dutch won the 'poule of death'.

Match against Chilli was not the most beautiful ever played, but alas, the Duch team won.

The announers ripped the Ecuadorean coach and the team for settling for a tie because that eliminated them.

4 month ban for a third offence for Suarez is not enough. Plus I hate how he went down looking to place the blame on the other guy. Sheer disgraceful. Plus he was unprovoked. People reckon he has mental problems who knows? Heres what he did a few years ago in the English league....

Anyway USA scrape through despite 0 shots on target against Germany. Still, their defence looks very solid and they beat the odds in the "group of death".

Portugal woke up too late and paid the price on goal difference against the USA.

I don't think Germany, nor Argentina or Costa Rica, were at full stretch as each of them knew they had already qualified.

France were uninspiring too against Ecudor (and a 10 man one at that), but again, all teams have bad days and they also were already through to the knockout stages.

Feel abit gutted for yet another promising but failed Ivory Coast team. They were weak against a very ordinary and dull Greece team and they should of held on to a draw but a very, very late (and soft) penalty took them out and Greece through.....

I like this picture. It's a nice moment with greek penalty scorer Samora consoling keeper Boubacar Barry and denying Ivory Coasts first ever chance at the knockout stages of a world cup with only seconds to go. Heartbreaking stuff.....
