Man, where do you find this stuff? But, I remember that one. Pop was telling Leonard to get more squared up when trying to block someone's line of sight while they are shooting a three. I think Pop was saying line up with the chest. I think this clip says it all about the coach. He's all about tough love Trolls be gone!

I just saw the breaking news. This is going to get really interesting. There are some others facing the same decision before the end of the month. Grab the popcorn! Trolls be gone!

Probably the best dunk in the past ten years right here! Trolls be gone!

We all knew that was going to happen. Most of the ESPN talkies I listened to yesterday think he's going to Chi-town.

Give credit when credit is due When is the last time you saw a dunk like that? This GIF doesn't show what happened just before this dunk though. That's what makes it so great. Trolls be gone!

Ok, so it doesn't that LebRUN will leave Miami, but he's letting him know he just might. i think he's testing to see ppl's reaction to what would be some more BITCH-ASS-NESS that'll taint his legacy and he'll never live down!
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I agree because it seems that he's just trying to make up for the last time he was a free agent. I said it before and will say it again, it makes no sense that a finals loser would get more publicity than the winners. It seems like every step this guy takes makes him even more of a target for people to dislike him. I just wish he would go away. Trolls be gone!

Yeah, he's such a bitch ass that he took less than the max to play in Miami so they could get other players (something he'll do again if he stays). He's such a bitch ass that he played an entire contract too long in Cleveland WAITING for them to do anything other than expect him to carry the team. He's such a bitch as that he all he does is constantly talk about his team and praise his teammates. For fuck's sake, Michael Jordan was the most selfish player in history, retired twice and came back to play for the WASHINGTON WIZARDS and nobody hated on him for it. LeBron is no different than any other free agent, many of whom (including superstars Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Love) have said the same or worse than anything he's saying. But LeBron is at the top, and it's the hater way to go after those people. Have fun with it.

And for the record, how he handled his free agency, or even what teams he played for, will do nothing to "taint" his legacy. He's still going to finish in the top five of every meaningful category by the time he retires. He's still going to have a box full of MVP awards. And he's still going to have been to the finals four years in a row, with two Championships (so far, he's still young). In short, he's going to be considered one of the greatest to ever play the game (for many people he already is).

Thank you for bringing some knowledge and sanity to this thread. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but there are opinions based on actual facts and opinions that aren't.
Lebron's opting out is a strong message to Pat the Rat....hey Pat, get this supporting cast fixed.

I didn't expect Lebron to stay in Miami forever, what happen today shouldn't be that big of a surprise to all the serious hoop fans out there.

I don't believe he's going anywhere, though. It's like uptown said, it's leverage. First, if he stays he will be making less than the max, but he'll be resigned to a longer guaranteed contract (he only has one year left on his current deal, so his opting out isn't all that surprising). Second, it allows him to see what the Heat do with Wade, Bosh and new signings (because they basically have no team at this point) before making his final decision. But I fully expect Riley will get it done and LeBron will stay. However, should he leave, good for him and good luck. This freedom is exactly what the NBAPA has fought for over the last couple decades. And truthfully there are a couple teams - if they were willing to make big trades, shuffle a large portion of their roster around and go over the cap - where LeBron would probably stand a better chance of winning another title in the next couple years. But I still believe he'd rather stay in Miami for as long as possible.

Now I'm hearing the Clippers might make a move for Lebron. I can't see him going to any western conference team. It's an easier road to the Finals here in the east where he only has Indiana and Chicago(assuming Rose is 100% healthy) to worry about.

Oh please less stop whining about the folks who whine about Mr. James. He did some trashing talking himself and when folks hit back even harder he and some of his fans cried foul. When you trash talk you put a on your back. The NBA are a league of men who wear jock-straps not pull-ups. All joking aside.
Unless James doesn't want anymore rings ,I can't see him returning home. He could not get any big time players to go Cleveland when he was there so, why would anyone including him go back now? I think James will probably stay in Miami. I agree with UP' why go West when the road is much easier in the East. Besides, James doesn't do hard all that well. What team (besides the Lakers) can afford James and Mello? What can Riley do and what players can he pick-up and dump? I don't know Bosh's deal but they need to send him packing. D-Wade will never be the player he was. Its going to be an interesting summer.

It has begun!
Knicks trade Felton & Chandler to the Mavs for Dalembert, Calderon, Larkin and two second round picks.
According to Chris Broussard, Carmelo will visit Dallas, Houston & Chicago once free agency begins.
NBA Draft tomorrow - who goes first?
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
I don't watch college basketball so I don't have an opinion on who'll go first. I don't know any of the players, but I'll watch the draft anyway.......on another note......how many overall #1 draft picks have the Cavs had since King James took his talents to Miami? Any mathematicians here? Can someone tell me the odds of any team getting the overall #1 pick in any given year? And then tell me what are the odds of the same team getting the overall #1 pick in consecutive years? In 3 of 4 years....? Is it a mathematician I need or an odds maker? I'd like to know the odds of King James taking his talents back to Cleveland? Maybe it's a statistician of thinking of........

With Joel's injury I would say Jabari Parker would go first unless Cleveland plans to trade Dion Waiters, then I can see Wiggins going #1.
As A Sixer fan I wish that Cleveland would do like we did last season with Noel and Pick Joel first, this way we could get Wiggins because I don't think Millwaukee would draft him, they would get Parker or Exum IMO.
Do you think the Knicks will try to get a first rounder Thursday?

While on this subject. I happen to know the wife of an ex NBA coach back from high school. She attended the College basketball hall of fame ceremony back in 2009 when MJ was nominated. She told me she was surprised and appalled at how arrogant he was at the ceremony. [Edited 6/25/14 20:47pm] Don't laugh at my funk

Hey you. LBJ isn't the first player to trash talk. What little he did is minimal compared some of the other heroes of the game. It seems as though LBJ is the second most hated man in america behind the President. Even FB has been out of control since he said he was opting out of his deal. Carmelo did it 2 days earlier and you couldn't even hear a mouse speak on it and I get on some Lakers fans for conveniently forgetting how Kobe wanted out of L.A several years ago before the Pau Gasol trade. It amazes me how people gripe on this LBJ witch hunt(as though he's a criminal ) much like politics as though it controls their lives.
