Just like I predicted. LeBron bounces back and lead his team to a victory.

This will be one hell of a series.

Those four straight misses at the free throw line came back to haunt the Spurs.

If Lebron did that, imagine what the haters would say.

Umm hmm! Damn it! Messed up my sweep by four freakin' free throws! pout

I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart.

Those Lebron/Heat fans are some of the most smug and delusional fans on the planet. They booed their team and left early before possibly seeing them for the last time until next season. Rude and fickle....just like that phony Lebron James

Did you just hear Stephen A of Sports Center straight dogging the Miami Heat? Well, everybody EXCEPT Mr. YouKnowWho. He did his thing but he was just exhausted. It was the rest of the team that lost the game. eek

I think one of the commentators during the game tonight said something to that effect that it was everyone else's fault except Lebron. One of the commentators kept saying Wade (to paraphrase) was out of it or something. All these idiots making excuses for Lebron. Why can't they admit that the Spurs were the better team?!?!?!? When is the last time you had ALL players, including the bench, who scored points in a game?!?! That doesn't happen everyday. History was made tonight in a number of categories but all these morons wanna do is talk about Lebron's "stomach ache" of all ages. Give me a break biggrin

These talking head idiots are gonna still talk as if Lebron can walk on water.....what a joke.

Before we jump all on the Spurs sack. Let's talk logic here. They are playing some outstanding ball right now but let's temper the dynasty talk. The Spurs have just gotten hot at the right time. They were pushed to a 7th game by the 8th seeded Dallas Mavs. eek

This is pretty much the same team with the exception of a few role players

that got ousted 3 years ago as the TOP SEED by the 8th seeded Memphis

Grizzlies. That's right! The following year OKC ran them out the playoff chase after dropping the first two games. The Mavs won the title a few seasons ago because they got hot at the right time in the playoffs and that's what we are witnessing with the Spurs. Some people up in here are talking about the Spurs like they have been fans all along and weren't even talking about the Spurs during the regular season. Just a few seasons ago people were talking about how old the Spurs were.

I have NEVER seen that before. On Magic Johnson's twitter the other day, he said that Leonard was the future of the team. I totally see what he's talking about! Leonard was amazing.....not flashy, he gets the job do it for his team! Tell "Burger King" Lebron to take notes from Leonard!

I would put a sign next to that saying, 'Tanking a season to get Tim Duncan paid off'.

I agree with phunk - Spurs are a great team, but not a dynasty like the 90s Bulls or early 2000s Lakers.

But who said anything about a dynasty though? We're just talking about this Final series and the ass whopping they ARE in fact putting on LeBrons James and the Miami Heat. If they hadn't missed those four funky free throws in the 4th quater of game 2, they would have swept them. The Spurs are playing damn good basketball right now and that's all that matters, right now.

How the hell is he better defensively? Rebounding? Passing? Please, let's keep it real here. Lebron's been to FOUR straight Finals, and he took a team of scrubs there in '07.

That public shit means nothing to me. All I'm interested in is on-the-court performance.

And when will Durant, Westbrook & Co. start getting heat for not winning it all? Their window won't last forever.

Man that shit is so ridiculous. I'm glad you addressed it and not me. lol

The prooof is in the pudding. LeBron's first ring came against KD and the

Thunder. 4 games to 1. Enough said.

Lebron's ego? Please. LeBron's ego isn't even half of the arrogance MJ, Kobe, Barkley, Magic, Karl Malone, Shaq, and Bird had.

I know, right? I'd like to know what some of these folks are watching. biggrin

As for Thunder, they have to get a legit PG, move Westbrook to the 2, improve the bench, and Durant has get stronger and develop a low post game.

Total domination by the Spurs last night - Basketball 101. LeBron must have felt like he was back in Cleveland. His guys were clueless out there. Wade is done, and Chalmers will be out the door, believe that.

The teams that are discussed as dynasties: 60's C's, 80's Lakers, 90's Bulls and (to a lesser extent) the 00's Lakers had a few things in common:

1. They won 5 titles or more.

2. Those titles were all won within 10 years of each other. (Cs 9 between 60-70, 80s L's 5 between 80 and 88, 90s Bulls 6 between 91 and 98, and 00's Lakers 5 between 00 and 10).

3. They won at a minimum back-to-back titles.

The Spurs are a great organization but if they win out, they have 5 titles in 15 years and they have NEVER repeated as champs.

****Big Fundamental could make a claim to Player of the Post-Jordan Era with 5 titles though.

Spurs remind me of my Knicks back in their 70s heyday - a well-oiled machine.

As for the Heat, they definitely have to retool and I think Pat Riley knows that. They need a legit PG (Chalmers played his way out of South Beach lol), a reliable scorer to play alongside James, size up front and a quality bench.

Unless the Heat find a way to win four games in a row, I'm sure that certain idiot broadcasters are going to say that the Heat would have won if the AC didn't break or if there wouldn't have been a half moon in the sky, etc.

It's one thing to be a sore loser but why are so many people denying how amazing the Spurs played!!!!?!?!?!

My sentiment exact and I actually am a fan of Tim Duncan. The Spurs can be great at times and lackluster at times. They were a stone's throw from

going down 0-2 at home in the first round against the 8th seeded Mavs.

Yes Tim Duncan can make a claim to be one of the NBA greats with 5 rings. They(the Spurs) just haven't been consistent in a shorter period of time to be labeled a dynasty. Same with the Heat. They would need to win at least 3 titles in a 5 year span.
