Does anyone remember the Cavs team Lebron took to the Finals.Replace Lebron with Carmelo Athony at that exact moment, same time in the league. The Cavs would of been one and done.Prime Duncan and Shaq could of took that Cavs team to the finals and his airness. 2014-Year of the Parties

This news has officially blown up Twitter This full moon is crazy. Cleveland is having a lucky week with the GOP convention announcement, Lebron, etc. It will be interesting to see how the fans react. Some skeptics are saying this is a move to save face and an attempt to restore his potential legacy. I think he was humiliated with the Spurs destroying them, a much older Spurs team at that.
I haven't read his letter yet but I imagine someone else helped him fine tune it. He probably feels bad that he left Cleveland the way he did but I wonder if he's going back just because of the draft picks, etc. Grab the popcorn folks, the NBA is going to have an interesting year coming up soon... I don't know much about the other players but aren't they draft picks from this year? I don't remember seeing an NBA finals full of rookies and like one veteran. This is really going to shake the deck in the NBA for a few years to come. Go Spurs, btw! Amazing how none of these dolts can't admit that the Spurs were a better team, period! Trolls be gone!

All righty... get out your Sam Adam, popcorn, and subs for next NBA season. OK. Who's going to be the next NBA champs? Spurs repeat? Cuz, it won't be coming out of Cleveland.

Your post is funny, TD I read some interesting conspiraces and speculation on Twitter that Lebron was probably plotting this. I don't know because I think if they wouldn't have been demolished by the Spurs, he would have stayed in Miami. With that said, it is also bizarre that Cleveland had the number one pic this year and for several years in a row it seemed. Isn't that draft lottery supposed to be random?
Lebron's PR team is amazing. Those people in Cleveland appear to be happy to get him back. I think when the owner removed that letter from the Cavs website a few days ago, it gave it away that Lebron was going to go back. Maybe this is the start of a new era for him but if Cleveland has a playoff shot, who would their main contenders be?

Don't worry someone will be here soon with palm palms and hand saying give me an L, B, ... Cleveland!
I guess all is fair in buisness and money because I thought ('The Decision', was a dumb-ass PR move) Cavs owners David Gillbret "letter" and the shit he pulled afterwards was reprehensible. My memory would have been a little bit longer than Mr. James.
I suspect Indy (even thought they had a meltdown) still, maybe but that depends on Rose (who getting on my last damn nerve) what free agents they sign. The East is a big question mark with Heat players moving on...

Lebron put the 2007 Cavs on his back and took them to the Finals. The second best player on that team was Mo Williams.
Contenders in the East? I'd say the Bulls with a healthy Rose, Pacers, and the Wizards are up and coming.

Forgive my laziness But, I thought Ibaka played the same position as Gasol. What happens to Ibaka if Gasol goes to OKC? Isn't Gasol a Center? Any word yet if Duncan is coming back for another round of NBA action? Trolls be gone!

Power Forward/Center are interchangable like Shooting guard and Small forward. Duncan's option was picked up for measley 10 million compare to those other outrageous contracts. 2014-Year of the Parties

Kome I mean Kobe made more money last year than Parker,Ginobil,Duncan combined. Spurs won championship.Kobe got injured and missed playoffs. Not even a playoff team even if he played all 82 games. 2014-Year of the Parties

Wrong! Don't like Cleveland sports especially the Brownies but I can tolerate the Cavs however there is one problem. The future ain't Cleveland. It ain't those pompous ass Spurs fans who all of a sudden have balls to talk shit after years of getting their asses kicked by the Lakers and upstart teams like Memphis and OKC. Alrighty Spurs fans hope you enjoyed this year. Sadly Mr. Duncan didn't ride out into the sunset this year and OKC or one of these younger teams in the West may do it for him next season.
This is the future of the NBA right here

I knew you' would know that message was for you. ' I know you don't the Brownies"... James? Don't worry your palms, they'll will come out. As far as ID comments, what happened during that 2007 NBA finals, was it his arm or something... James excuse for fading away. Same thang happened the first year in Miami but that wasn't an arm excuse that was mental excuse. James has a rep of being a tad soft when he should be the man... James fans always say different but history has shown other wise. Still I have my beer already chilled because it's going to be a crazy good year for NBA ball. James is a BIG reason why. ===== [Edited 7/20/14 7:01am]

NBA is the furthest from my mind at this point I'm all in for football. We will see what goes down when the NBA rolls around late October. For the record I wasn't talking about Spurs fans here as much I was the ones on social media. Are you ready for football? I believe the Bears will have a good year as long as Cutler perform well. He has no excuses this year. Don't laugh at my funk

I'll say, especially after all those nasty personal attacks from Dan Gilbert and so-called 'fans'. Now I see folks wearing 'Forgiven' t-shirts. WTF does Lebron need forgiveness for? He did what any U.S. citizen has the right to do, to work at the place of his choosing. He didn't owe them jack shit.
Stupid ass fans.... | |

I chalk it up to the people of Ohio having some screws loose. If this would have been any other fan base this wouldn't have happened. The guy's PR team knew how to shape this "Decision 2.0" to make him not look as bad on the surface. But, never in the history of the NBA has a player been to the finals four years in a row and then opted out and left just one year after winning a championship and still having the entire team wanting to come back for the following year?

I understand the first 'Decision'.....the second one makes zero sense. With a retooled Miami team, Lebron is guaranteed trips to the ECF and Finals. He'll make this young Cavs squad a playoff team, but I don't know how far they'll go with so much inexperience. Now if they're able to get Kevin Love, that's a different story. Lebron, Love & Irving is a nice trio.
IMO, there's some behind-the-scenes shit going on that we'll never know about.
Carmelo's back with the Knicks. I'm not happy about that max contract, but whatever. Knicks are still a bottom seed in the east. [Edited 7/12/14 15:47pm]
