GTA IV and V are ALL about the graphics, the dialogue and the story, the realism...
"old" GTA games, especially Vice City, were about the "sandbox madness", the multiple vehicles (not only cars), the soundtrack, the mini-games, the arcade elements (by arcade I mean not realistic)... Many people say GTA V is "badass" or "awesome", but back in 2003 when we talked about VC we used these two words: FUCKIN' MADNESS
new GTA games sure are more mature, but I prefer the old games, irreverent and insane, especially VC (I don't play III or SA that much anymore, barely in fact, the former offers too little and the latter way too much VC has the perfect balance)

Home gaming systems that I used to own:
Atari 2600 Atari 7600 NES Sega Genesis Sega 32X Sony Playstation One
I haven't owned a gaming system since the original Playstation. I was playing flash-based games for a while until I had to resign from that due to my current concerns about internet privacy and security. These days, as a Linux user, I only play video games that are free open source software such as Freedoom (freeware version of Doom) and Openarena (freeware version of Quake III). Except for TBoGT, the PS3 GTAs lacks the wacky, over-the-top feeling of the PS2 GTAs. But Rockstar wanted to go in a more 'realistic' direction.
I like the 80s vibe/music of Vice City, but the map is blah compared to GTA III & SA. I like the fact that multiple gangs come after you in GTA III, SA, even Vice City, Stories. Vice lacks that element of danger. You can pretty much go anywhere except Little Haiti and the military base(unless you wear the cop uniform).
But being a GTA fan, I play all eight games religiously. Never gets old.
I'm getting back into Mortal Kombat IX, so wants to 'test their might' online? My handle is MrBronx61.

I still have my Atari 7600/2600, ColecoVision, Sega Genesis/32x. Every so often I'll fire up the old systems for old times sake.

Can anyone answer my question? Does anyone here play browser games?
Would you be willing to PAY for one, if it came out? (not Tetris and the like, but say, an actual 1st person shooter)....?

I was a big fan of Diablo and Diablo II. I cannot believe the amount of time that it took for them to get a third one out. I don't seem to care much anymore! My Legacy

Diablo III has been insanely successful; I never cared for that franchise myself, maybe because of that isometric camera view that makes everything look tiny, ugh

yeah I feel that by the time it came out it was a primitive looking game. Not that I really mind that, but it is surprising that it was so successful considering how much competition there is in the gaming world [Edited 5/30/14 18:02pm] My Legacy

Not happy to hear about the return of those cheap X-Ray attacks. Hopefully there'll be an option to turn them off for online play.
