Tonight my mission is to tell Shane Battier about our BattierBeMyDaddy and her love... In about 3 hours I will be sitting literally feet from BattierBeMyDaddy's namesake and hero Shane Battier as I watch the T-Wolves and Grizzlies play.
My mission will be to inform Shane of his biggest fan and perhaps set up a date between the two of them. This will be the fourth time I have seen Memphis play in my life which I believe qualifies me as their biggest fan  | |

I do not post intelligently enough. But, you can tell him I love him, and I admire him a great deal, and reading and listening to his interviews increased my vocabulary. You can tell him my favorite article about him is up on my profile and it inspired me! How I love Shane! -------

If only you knew what you spoke of. And I'm surprised at you, lovemachine. You know Shane doesn't get that much bench time. I will admit that I think Shane Battier is a very solid basketball player. He is not the kind of guy you can build a team around, but he is a great player to have on a team as he does all the small things you need to do to win games. His game seems to really be improving now that they are not looking at him to score so much. He is the kind of player who will always hustle, make the right pass, and get the tough rebound. I would be very happy if the Bucks could get Mr. Battier someday. | |
