this guy right now because i (finally) read 'the green mile' and it rocks big time. i wouldn't have ended it the way stephen (smoochy-bear) king did, (spoiler alert: the angel character is electroducted to death by the good guy) i'd have written in a lightning bolt that stopped the execution, set fire to the facility and burned a hole in the prison for Big John to escape. but, seeing as how it ain't my story and kind of in bad taste to re-write someone else's story i best stfu on that. now, mind you when i say i have a 'crush' on SK, i don't mean i want to hump the guy and derail his marriage, i'd just buy him lunch or send him flowers is all

No. I'm not a horror fan.

^ Stephen King seems to be best known for horror fiction, but he actually writes sci-fi stuff, or what could be called fantasy too. The Green Mile isn't horror, or even really scary at all. i'm a huge fan of SK's work, imo he's the best of the sci fi/fantasy/horror genres

Actually I think both of them developed their own little group of fans based on the fact that they were not afraid to be brutal, or brutally honest as the case may be.
