3 Day juicing cleanse

One thing I know for sure is I will not be doing a 3 day juicing fast. I was one hungry puppy the first day. Chili cheese fries, anyone? No i didnt but I ate sensibly, but not a lot. There is no substance for the stomach. And omg one pees a lot. Good thing I suffered no headaches which I kept being told I might. I don't feel any different. I was told it'll bring a lot of things out, like lingering colds and viruses but it didn't seem to. I did experience getting very cold from time to time but it would pass after a few hours.

I did a 3 day prep, no caffeine or sugar, very little processed foods, 1 gallon of water a day, a multivitamin. Then 3 days of primarily organic raw juice along with a gal/day water. Now I'm suppose to do 3 days of a post thing, lots of water lots of fresh foods and so on. I guess I got something out of it, but as I said I don't feel any different. No burst of energy or anything. shrug I needed the water though I was very dehydrated.

The first 3 days of your first fast are the worst. Because your body is removing all the toxic things you have been putting in it for years. So you feel really weak and have symptoms of the like.

The first time I did a fast I only did a water only fast for 3 days. I fast all the time, you really get more energy and your body feels much much better and mind. I also do 1 1/2 hours worth of cardio and calisthenics atleast 4 times a week on my fasting days too. I can go a while without eating if I dont feel like it.

I have never loss any muscle nor has anything changed other than my body feeling better.

The next time you do it itll be easier because your body already removed a bulk of nonsense, so you wont have as much withdrawal. If you try a water only fast youll get better benefits. But it takes mentally more work.

The first time around, just to clarify. After then its easy. And even then I'm used to it so I dont drink more water than average. I imagine it wouldnt be much different from a juice fast.

I technically wasn't fasting to be fasting. I've done intermittent fasting before so it isn't new to me. I was supposedly flooding my system with nutrients and trying to give my stomach a break by not giving it anything to chew on, or at least that's one way, but that didn't work for me I seemed hungrier than not eating at all. But it was the nutrients I was after, not so much a weight loss thing. I know I needed it and it had to do me some good. I'm just a little surprised based on what I've heard.

....? What lol?

Thats what a fast is for, cleansing lol. The energy your body wasnt spending digesting food it was spent removing nonsense, which is part of the withdrawal, the intense hunger known as 'stress hunger'. Which happens when your body is working removing nonsense.

If you were getting all your nutrients it wouldn't have any effect on that.

That's the point I haven't been getting enough of my nutrients here lately. It was a jump start. I'm not in the frame of mind to completely overhaul my life. There are things I do just fine but I went on a detour for a moment and since I tend to be very anemic I was beginning to feel the affects and needed a realignment and tried this. Complete fasting would not have been a good idea. I don't think I'd do it the same way again though, but it wasn't bad, I feel a little better just not tiptop.

I wonder if that's similar to the concept of eating REAL food which is where I'm want to go.
