Help me reduce by Belly, pleeeezzzz

Sure I could go to the bookstore and buy a hundred dollars worth of books but I bet some people here have tried a few things since January first.

My body type is an apple. I would be a size 10 if my waist was in proportion to the rest of me but I am a size 16 if there is a waistband in the clothes. This is rediculous. I also have a thick neck and a very round face.

My belly, and by the way I am 52, does not have layers. It is one big round beer belly looking thing. I don't drink beer.

So far I have read something by that t.v. doctor , Dr Oz. He says no Broccoli, onions garlic, wheat and take a magnesium pill. Just got done buying Magnesium pills from the worst Walgreens in America.

So, if you know anything to help me please share.

(p.s. I use to weigh 252 lbs and got down to 192 and then got stuck there for a year or so. I would like to be no more then 155 since I am only 5'3" tall.)

There came a time when the risk of remaining tight in the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin.

You can't "spot reduce." That said, if your belly is where the fat is, that's where you'll lose fat, if you lose fat, in general.

Very often, women who carry fat in their belly have some underlying issue. Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, insulin resistance, low sex hormone levels (due to menopause), etc. High cortisol levels can cause "moon face," as well.

You may not drink beer, but I bet you eat carbohydrates. If you have insulin resistance (or are diabetic), a low-carb diet (plenty of protein with good fats and non-starchy carbs like vegetables) is what you should look at.

Dr. Oz is a moron.

exercise. it will boost your metabolism, burn fat and you'll feel better too. you say you have a thick neck and very round face, have you been assessed for thyroid function?? sometimes those are a symptom of issues there. hang in there, remember no one is perfect rose

It is a weird belly; not a jiggly belly at all.

I am staying away from all wheat product. I also have a lot of fart.

One week I happened to find a bunch of tangerines on sale and kept eating them. That was my best week as far as not having that hard round belly.

Diabetes runs in my family and I don't have it; However at my highest weight the Doc did say that I basically had pre-diabetes. I have had it checked since then aswell.

That's because the fat is visceral (ie, in the abdominal cavity), rather than subcutaneous (over the muscle). This type of fat is very dangerous.

Have you had a physical? Your doctor should evaluate your hormone levels, thyroid and kidney function, and all kinds of other stuff.

1. Go see your doctor and tell him/her what you want to do, and make sure you're healthy enough to exercise and change your diet

2. Hire a personal trainer, set a goal, and make a realistic plan to reach it in a reasonable amount of time

3. Hire a nutritionist to design a healthy diet for you

Do those three things and you cannot lose anything except that weight!

Unfortunately, you all might remember me. I am the very low income VERY LOW, orger. I basically ran away from my life to lose the first 60lbs.

I have few job skills and take home less than 1600 a month.

sooooo, that is why I use the wise people of the org to try and figure out how I can do this myself I did apply for a job at a health facility in hopes of changing my own health.

So, I had a complete physical while staying at a homeless shelter in September but it didn't include any nutritionalist at all. He had a bunch of tests taken and I am pretty normal. He had basically every test taken since being integent paid for them all.

Google LCHF. Exercise to feel good, like walks each day but not not as a form of a torture. Do not reduce your calories to some ridiculous thing like 1200 or less and then burn 600 with exercise - it's a sure way to give yourself a stroke.
I follow the advice of the following people: Christine Cronau, David Gillespie, Tim Noakes. A lot of gas means food allergy. Find out what it is and stop eating it. Stop eating sugar and foods that are processed.
I'm the mistake you wanna make

See a doctor for a check up. Ask them to put you on a diet. And get some exercise like jogging or low impact aerobics (in a pool, less stress on body), or swimming, walking, etc.

Start by walking. Drink lots of water. Salads. Give up all junk. Eat vegtables and fruit and protein. Give up carbs.
