The Change In The Weather

How many of you get sick when there is a drastic change in the weather? We went from freezing to the 70's in about two days and it completely messed me up. I am miserable.

Shoots, I'm not putting away my coat and boots until May!! It was rather hot yesterday, though. It was just a teaser, cause it's chilly outside now...perfect pneumonia weather...try some Thera Flue and/or Alka Seltzer Plus Cold Medicine...

Yeah... I'm sucking on a Cold-Eeze right now. I'll have to go out after work and get something a little stronger. I've got a date with NyQuil.

Are you in Michigan?

If you've got a fever you should go to the doc. I had something similar in 2000 around this time of the year and it turned into double pneumonia. Don't wait until it turns into something like that.

No, I've never been. I've never been much of a club hopper. The time that I had to do it, I didn't have a car, and there weren't too many clubs up in Ann Arbor (college), except for the Nectarine Ballroom. I missed my chance sad

I get sick everytime the seasons change. Especially around this time so I know how you feel. Just rest a lot, drink lots of fluids (not sodas) so you stay hydrated, and take your tylenol or whatever you have with you at the moment. But if it gets worse, don't hesitate to go to the doctor like I did. I had the flu about 3 years ago and it was the sickest I'd been: 106 degrees. Thankfully I went before it got any worse.

Hope you feel better.

So much for "Nighty night" I can't sleep!

As for how cold it gets here, I think it averages about 13°C in winter... in Sydney anyway... not too bad eh?!

You really don't sound well at all... maybe a visit to the doctor would be best. sad

Not to be annoying (and I give you full permission to slap me at this point! hehe)... but to answer your thread, I hardly ever get sick... season change or not... I think there must be something wrong with me! confused

wink

Best wishes to you, hope you're better by the weekend!

I don't have a fever yet... so that is a good sign. My chest just feels like it's on fire.

Double pneumonia doesn't sound like any fun. sad

Sorry about the snow, Sag... sad

I won't be dancing (or so I say now)... I'll be hanging out in the VIP room people watching. That's my plan anyway. No... no fun on the side... I've actually turned into quite the bitch lately towards men... just stand-offish. Give me time! smile
