i think what tesla was going on about was creating a kind of shield to prevent solar flares and mass coronal ejections from wiping us out in future. he was born in 1856, three years before the mass coronal ejection of 1859 and was old enough to see firsthand what happened. his 'death ray' and HAARP designs can be used to generate a protective dome/shield of energy, as well as having weapons applications. the govmint used his designs to wage war, though...

i know he's dead and all, but i have an enormous crush on nikola tesla. i'd love to travel back in time and see him and sam clemens/mark twain hanging out, they were great friends, y'know

The man was a true genius, he would have been a fascinating character to have met. Ruined by JP Morgan (a banker no less) and Edison took credit for his hard work. We have Tesla to thank for modern life, so sad that too few people even know about him.

i know this sad story. george westinghouse promised fifty grand to anyone who could come up with a way to send current through wiring without setting fire to the wires and walls in which they were cotnained as a result of over-heating, and when tesla actually came up with alternating current to solve that problem, westinghouse stole the idea and failed to pay up. tesla quit working for westinghouse after that, but he was broke.

tesla also designed a geomagnetic waste-free, pollution free energy source which could be available to everyone, cost free and j.p. morgan suppressed that patent without giving tesla credit, because morgan controlled the energy economy.

marconi plagiarized tesla's design for the radio and it wasn't until after years had passed that the patent for radio was awarded back to tesla, retroactively, when it was found that marconi had stolen his work.

in his old age tesla even ended up being the prototype for the 'mad scientist' we all see in stories and such, yet, without his creativity we wouldn't be enjoying a lot of the things we have today. and he died poor and alone, after which the US govmint swept in and confiscated his work.

what's the moral of the story? because really the above almost makes a person think why even try? and yet, nikola tesla was who he was, and he did what he did. so even if he was broke, and didn't achieve recognition for his work, no one can ever take that away from him. he was still the creative artist and the other fat cats were still gross, immoral thieves.

and in this universe, fame is an illusion and money ain't where it's at. so in the ways where it truly counts, tesla did and still does reign supreme. now, if only i can get my design for the ghost machine up and running
