I need a man in the house..... Ok, I will put my hands up and admit it...I need a man in the house to help me...
I consider myself very independant and maybe a 'dudette' sometimes...I am not a lame ass who sits around waiting for the jobs to done, if there are jobs I have to do, I try myself first... I have my own tool box and fix things, can change a plug, paint, do heavy labour, I have cracks in my ceilings to be filled etc.. but there are somethings I cannot do.. Ok, for example (although this is a really bad example!!  )I am currently making some spagetti bolognese tonight and couldn't  open the jar...
I SO need a man... Does anyone experience the same things? Do you have a man who is absolutely useless and you have to do it yourself or get the professionals in? Or are you gonna make me real mad and say you have the prefect partner...saying that I have just got up, checked my water boiling for the pasta and completely burned my fingers.. | |

It takes time, patience, rope, and a good chainsaw... and some skill to know which branches to cut first, and to secure the tree to not fall over. If I had the proper tools and machinery like anyone who does it for a living, I could do it, why not? | |

Fer fuck's sake, RED, to cut an eighty-foot tree down (depending on the tree and trunk), you can cut it down in short segments to be safe. I highly doubt you live in the rainforest where we can just yell "timber" and let the whole thing go.

I have pulled down trees during my childhood with my grandad, dad and uncles and it is not an easy job for a woman to do...(or men on their own) ok, it was a trick question, and yeah women could do it with enuff experience but you probably gotta pay more for them or they are not so easily acessible so if needs must you gonna be calling that man out | |

There is no physical limitation, and this has nothing to do with governments or society in the way of a woman. Yes, men are generally stronger and generally do more physical labor around the house. But my dad raised me by himself and taught me a lot of what I need to know about things like that. Everyone's raised a little different. I respect your opinion.
