The most rappers r with no education, no good background and very poor when they first started. If u don't live on the streets, u can't rap bout em!

It has come to the attention of my colleagues and i that
there is some confusion about how i say whut i say when i
say whut say, and it's hard to understand whut i say because whut i say is being compared to whut is heard in a rap song WHEN EVRYBODY KNOW that RAPPERS gotta go to school to learn how to talk and think like me.

biggrin Shit, when I was a kid, rappers knew how to speak English. It's only in the last few years that being eloquent and having verbal dexterity is no longer required for the job it seems, with dumbasses like Jah Rule in the charts etc.

Can anyone say DMX?! rolleyes

WHEN YOU'RE TRAVLING THE DARK STREET IN THE DARK TIMES
OF THE DARK FOLKS, DON'T IT MAKE YOU NERVIOUS.
AND WHEN YOU'RE ENCROACHED UPON ON THAT STREET YOU'RE ON
AND YO CELLPHONE IS OUT OF SERVICE
YOU WORK HARD FOR YOURS AND WENT TO SCHOOL
AND YOU THINK THESE 'LAZY FUCKS' ARE A BUNCH OF FOOLS
BUT NOW THE RAELIZATION IS CLOSE AT HAND
AND THE PITTY IS YOU'LL UNDERSTAND
BUT IT'LL BE THE LAST THING THAT YOU KNOW...

Damn right! Wasn't so impressed with 'The Master', but 'The 18th Letter' had its moments.

'Follow The Leader' is breathtaking. nod

There are a lot of rappers on the scene now have a intelligable flow, though they are over looked by the masses because they aren't bling blinging or thuggin. Rappers like Aceyalone, Mos Def, Blackalicious, Common, Madlib, Saul williams are all fine lyricist. It's sad that Hip-hop took the detour it did, from Tribe, Krs, Rakim, Ultramagnetic to low life gangsterism. Hip hop still posses so much potential as an art form but unfortunatley there aren't many who are willing to experiment, most artist want to take the quickest route to the charts rather than plant the seeds for the future of hip-hop. As i get older I find it harder to hold my attention like it once did, it seems like its not growing fast enough for me. I am anxious to hear the next Outkast cd and see what Andre 3000 has been up to the first 2 singles i've heard are bangin! horns
