Oscar Pistorius is guilty

But wouldn't it b horrible if the jury fall for the crocodile tears act and let him off

He makes my stomach turn every time he cries

I just hope the jury don't find him innocent because of pitty and because of his status

Who locks the door to take a midnight pee????

She locked the door because she was afraid of him - they had been arguing
She ran in there and locked it to feel safe

I never even thought of that...that right there just sold me on his guilt. I was a little wishy washy b4 I read that.

quite a few times during heated arguments I ran to the bathroom and locked the door to get away from my x

Otherwise midnight pees were with the door open or not locked

When my x hurt me he used to cry - oscar reminds me of him

It's a big sympathy act nothing else - he used to do it to make me feel sorry for him but he was never sorry for what he had done to me

How is some one so afraid of somebody in their bathroom locked behind a door. That they shoot blindly into the door. No warning shot. I just wouldn't shoot through a door unless I knew who was on the other side of that door and knew their intent first.

As for his tears, they are for himself; woes me that I lost my girlfriend, woes me that I'm on trial, woes me that I was put into this situation in the first place. They are not tears for his girlfriend, someone that narcissistic cares for themselves primarily. I had a guy friend just like that, he had a girlfriend that he treated like shit-till one day she broke up with him (Not to say he wasn't nice to her at times.). She a year later died in a car accident and he was all woes me about it big time (Just like oscar on the stand.) I said to him if you cared so much about her maybe you should have treated her better when you dated her. Instead of treating her like shit they way you did.

He used hollow point bullets.

His first shot hit her leg.

She would have been screaming bloody hell - enough for him to stop and think; "Oh damn, that's not a burglar taking a shit in my bathroom, that's my girlfriend screaming in horrific pain."

i don't follow this case, so I have scant knowledge of the details. All this time I thought Pistorius was inside the bathroom, supposedly afraid and shooting at an unknown intruder outside of it. That would have been reckless, but... it's the other way around!?!? doh!

Yeah... this ain't looking too good for him.

Preach. I find it funny that those who are posting on this thread seem to think that this trial is some kind of soap opera.... Stop watching/reading this shit and go back to living your lives.

Very much my take on it. A friend of mine's ex used to hit her, then, later, cry when he sought forgiveness (which he always got, since the sight of a grown man crying reallyhas a powerful effect on some people); so I don't at all take the position that they suggest that he's innocent. Nor even do I think the only aternative explanation is that they're put-on 'crocodile tears'. I wouldn't be surprised that, as the full force of what he's done, and the horror of seeing other people - particularly his family - seeing what he's done, hits him, it does make him want to throw up, or revert to a childlike way of seeking sympathy.

Of course he's guilty. He's guilty of cold blooded murder. The only question is in regards to the intended victim.

He shot someone through a locked bathroom door. I fail to see how self defence can be the excuse.

When I see emotion from an accused, I always just think they are upset that they were caught and now on trial...I never think it's remorse or them being upset over what happened...just selfishness.

I was thinking he's guilty before...but then recently, I awoke in the night and got up to close the kitchen window. Suddenly I was startled by a noise coming from the hall leading to the bathroom. Fearing for my children's lives I grabbed some knives from the counter and started flinging them towards the darkness.
