I usually don't do this with shows, check out the titles of their episodes but I was dying to know if they were only doing the rest of book 3. Looks like they are. And of course which episode we are going "purple".
1. Two Swords 2. The Lion and the Rose 3. Breaker of Chains 4. Oathkeeper 5. First of His Name 6. The Laws of Gods and Men 7. Mockingbird 8. The Mountain and the Viper 9. The Watchers on the Wall 10. The Children |

I tried and tried NOT to watch. I swore I wasn't going to start another series and get hooked. Sadly I did. I am so sleepy right now. Watched seasons 1 & 2 in one day... yesterday (well over 24 hours so 2 days). Going to finish 3 tonight/morning so I'll be all caught up for the premiere. I hate that little weezly blond king. Want to strangle him myself. Thank goodness he's not like his character in RL.
One good thing about watching all at once...you don't wait for the next episode and you don't forget what happened.

It's addictive, isn't it? I did what you did a year ago before season 3 aired. I had tried to get into GoT when it first aired but never really got past the first episode. Last year I decided that I was going to sit down, go on Demand and finally check it out and when I did, I couldn't stop watching episode after episode. I got hooked...and so glad that I did! I can't wait for Sunday at 9pm. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. |

Same here. I think I watched one episode or part of one and didn't think I'd like it. But I actually had nothing to do a few days ago and decided to give it another try. All I can say is Peter Dinklage is amazing!! I could listen to him talk all day. I'd seen him once before on Nip/Tuck and thought he was great but he outshines just about everyone.
I finished season 3 last night. I HATED the wedding massacre. That really upset me. But I love Jon Snow, those dragons, and Daenerys Targaryen!
When you watch all the episodes back to back you realize how this same story goes on and on and on throughout history. The same 'kings' using kids to fight their wars, the same rich vs. poor, the same power struggles, the same back-stabbing politics...it never changes and probably never will.
I might not watch any episodes until season 4 is over just so I can watch back to back and not have to wait to see who kills who.

YES! Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) is my favorite character. I love it especially when he talks to Joffrey like he's as good as yesterday's garbage. Love it! I loved the scene in the last episode of Season 3 as well when he and Tywin Lannister have a one-on-one conversation. Tyrion possesses Tywin's intelligence and is cunning, though he doesn't possess his ruthlessness (or is that to come? ). I have a major crush on Jon Snow, he's such a cutie! I love it too when he politely but deftly puts Joffrey in his place. He is truly evil. I hate his mom too. Serves her right when her own son talks to her like she's crap. That's what she gets. I hope Tyrion keeps his heart and finds true love. I haven't read the books so I'm not sure what happens or if they're sticking closely to it, but I will now.

Oh no! He's not coming back either? I really like that actor and his character.
I'm mad Ed Skein isn't coming back as Daario Naharis...Unfortunately they are replacing him in season 4 with Michiel Huisman who was a drug addict in TREME. I for one liked Ed as Daario. I think he had a 'different' look and had chemistry with Daenerys Targaryen. I'm not certain why he was replaced but I've read that he's the successor of Jason Statham in the upcoming reboot of the "Transporter" film franchise, taking over the role of Frank Martin. Like we need another Transporter movie.

I thought Ed was fresh and different. But who knows? Maybe Michael will have a better wig? "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack |

Okay, I'm growing a tiny bit anxious, so I'm must drive folks nutz. New guy I really, really, really hate him. It was hard seeing The Wire after this show. "You know nothing, Jon Snow.". I don't know why that plays in my head a lot. Honestly I'm dying to know who she grows up into. |

That definitely was a we're back show. I was so glad when Arya got her needle back. Jon Snow will be a force, I'll say that. Dany might need a rolled newspaper we can't be having that. I laughed when Grandma just tossed the necklace over the edge, must be nice.
Need to watch again. |

WARNING SPOILERS...Don't read my response if you haven't seen the new episode yet.
Pretty good season premiere.
1. Who is this Prince? Looks like he may be added to "my favorite characters" list this season. 2. I'm still loving Jaime. I love seeing the respect he and Brianne have for each other. 3. Jon Snow is going to be a force to be reckoned with this season. Love it! 4. Poor Tyrion, he just can't catch a break. I just want to see him happy if only once. 5. So did Cersei have an STD? 6. Khaleesi is still the Queen Bee I see. 7. DAMN! Already knew The Hound could hold his own but he's a damn beast!
Looks like a pretty exciting season is upon us....YYYEEEESSSS HHHOONNNEEEYYY!!!!

I haven't read anything so far about anybody questioning how Robert died, a few people know the truth but for the record he was gored and that was that, I highly doubt at this point it matters anymore. And yeah he was setup. The whole marriage between Cersi and Loras should be interesting if it happens because that's not in the books. |
