I'll take it as an attempt to explain away a rather silly point about "female in-group bias", as it happens.

On the original topic, well, I guess I'd say Linda should probably remind herself who's the adult and not reward the little one with attention when he huffs and puffs. And I should probably do the same.

As a mother if a young son, I still don't understand how he (or more so the alleged person he learned it from) is being so disrespectful?

Saying her name and calling her honey and trying to get a point across in a calm non-aggressive manner is hardly being disrespectful, inappropriate for a child, sure...but not disrespectful in terms of a partner saying it. Who's to say the mom doesn't lose her shit with the dad (?) and he just responds like this little guy does trying to explain his side?

It would be interesting to see how all of you handle disagreement or arguments with your partner...I'm willing to bet a lot of you don't stay this calm.
