Gotta love female in-group bias whenever a man challenges them...anyway, see if y'all like this too...another great example of 'Motherhood'.

"Mother Shouts At Girls For Not Flushing The Toilet"...bit of searching'll do you no harm.

Where is a man challenging us?

Not interested in seeing the clip you referenced either. If its a child disrespecting a parent or a parent emotionally scarring a child, I have no interest in seeing it.

Sheesh...not that Stymie's comment above is predictable or anything, lol. Never would have predicted that coming from a woman.

By the way Stymie...wasn't asking anyone in particular to watch any video...to think I was talking personally to you is pure narcissism on your part. (...and you bored me last time those months ago).

.

NinaB...will have to recover pretty fast from falling off her chair there...if I were to quote statistics of the rates that mothers abuse and kill their own children.

.

Really hope the Dad's around for this toddler here.

Any comment concerning the original thread David?....instead of obsessing over funkyandy?

Don't let people start questioning your 'IQ' now...

You have a very feminine manner of 'arguing' by the way...I'm sure you'll take that as a compliment.

I'll take it as an attempt to explain away a rather silly point about "female in-group bias", as it happens. lol

On the original topic, well, I guess I'd say Linda should probably remind herself who's the adult and not reward the little one with attention when he huffs and puffs. And I should probably do the same.

Aww! This toddler's adorable!...people might want to check the other videos of this child...this one video of him make him seem one-dimensional.

.

He's a great kid with much potential...just hope his Father is or remains in his life.

Nor do I, but I also don't think he's being disrespectful because he's so young and really has no idea what he's saying or really doing - he's just copying the person who obviously has interaction with his mom...which really isn't even disrespectful either. In no way did I see that as "mouthing off".

A lot of comments here prejudging the Father and males in general...without any evidence whatsoever...have to assume there's some projection going on and / or ambivalence to males in general.

.

Try not to project your unresolved childhood traumas onto others. Thx.

.

Just a reminder that females are generally the early carers, teachers and influencers...anyone informed about early childhood years would easily identify the issue here is quite possibly the lack of a Father.

I thought it was hilarious...but definitely not appropriate.

From what I saw further on, seems like this kid has a BIG personality and mom is encouraging it.

I don't think he's old enough to understand that this won't be "cute" when he's 12, so I hope mom knows what she's doing and how to curb it when it matters later on.

Honestly, I feel like babyboy had too much fun with grandma's visit... eating as many treats as he wanted to, and learned a bit of grandma's negotiating style... "Linda, Linda, Linda... hun need to listen ..."

IMHO.

He's cute, so I'd give him an apple instead. biggrin

Yeah, tell it Stymie(d)...curious about this 'other banned personality', since any mod will confirm I've only ever had one account and have never been banned...but do tell us more tales...lying really suits your personality!

Back to the thread. I repeat. The demonisation of this infant is unnecessary, he's simply expressing himself freely...it's up to the parents to correct him.

As a mother if a young son, I still don't understand how he (or more so the alleged person he learned it from) is being so disrespectful?

Saying her name and calling her honey and trying to get a point across in a calm non-aggressive manner is hardly being disrespectful, inappropriate for a child, sure...but not disrespectful in terms of a partner saying it. Who's to say the mom doesn't lose her shit with the dad (?) and he just responds like this little guy does trying to explain his side?

It would be interesting to see how all of you handle disagreement or arguments with your partner...I'm willing to bet a lot of you don't stay this calm. lol
