Does Sadness Turn You On?

I am not saying i agree with everything said here... it's pretty extreme. But,it did get me thinking a bit. This is from a body builder/mind fucker/philospher. I gues you can say he is ''Avant garde body building'' if such a thing were to exist.

Here's what he posted.

Sadness is sexy.

I like damaged girls the way I like eating leftovers. I’m attracted to girls who are in pieces. It boosts my ego to glue them back like a piece of puzzle. Think about it, but nobody ever buys puzzles that have all the pieces already in place. It gives me a hard on when a girl confesses to me how sad she is, and how she still fantasizes about her ex when we have sex.

There’s no point in having a relationship with someone who is cheerful all the time because you would have nothing to do.

It’s a well-kept secret : Being sad and emo can get you laid. Couples like to share their sadness together, it’s what glues relationships and trust together: the confession of suffering.

People like hearing how lonely and miserable the other person is. It makes them feel better about themselves and it gives them a chance to be the hero and fix her up for the ultimate ego-booster.

Another thing I find that’s almost always true is how girls who just got dumped by their boyfriends and are in a bad breakups always give it up more easily. It’s the desperation that makes them easy…but sometimes it is also the urge for revenge. You can say that when the heart breaks and leaks, so does the vagina.

It is my fantasy to walk across the globe on my foot, visiting cancer patients in every hospital and screwing them all on their death beds while their family members, doctors, nurses, and all the people who can do nothing to save them watch on…I want to cum on their sadness and make them whole.

Sometimes I masturbate to pictures of girls who are undergoing chemo and have no hair or are covered in bandages or tumors. I find the sadness and miseries in those images very sexy.

Sadness is kind of a strange thing in a relationship. I say i want someone who is a happy person. Yet, i kind of like helping someone. Whether it's a hug, shoulder bump, or general hello that brightens their day. The guys i falled for the hardest in the past. Were those who seemed really sweet at first. Then, they showed their emotional side. Turns out they were damaged from things (Life, ex-lover, family problems etc.)

And those guys i had the strongest and longest lasting connections with.

To me, a certain vulnerability can be attractive inasmuch as it suggests openness to having one's humanity known. That can be an open gate to intimacy. But we seem to have lost sight that intimacy ≠ sex. And particularly when vulnerability comes in the form of emotional brokenness, I'm inclined to think it takes a special kind of predator to ID that as an opportunity to score some tail.

That had to be a tongue-in-cheek comment.

As Lammastide said...that comes across as a predator.

I've been drawn to the 'tragic' the meloncholy

In general (platonic) or not I'm drawn to people going thru hard times

I do think that complicated can be beautiful

.

In 2014 I've learned that also is connected to my heart being hurt, accused of things wrongly because the 'sad' person isn't thinking clearly, rejected, moving on etc

.

So I'm no longer 'turned on' by it. I'm singing Pharrells "Happy", I'm playing Kenny Garretts "Happy People"

I'm not so quickly drawn to songs that stimulate that meloncholy feeling: but they still get my attention.

Remember the movie Wedding Crashers and Vince Vaughan meets up with his old buddy Will Ferrell who he used to crash weddings with, and Will says "Ah man, I've moved on - FUNERALS are where the really good tail is!" Vaughan goes with him to a funeral, and sees him consoling the weeping sister of the deceased and he gives Vince the thumbs up while she is wailing on his shoulder?

Well I think this is that guy.

Someone else's misery can bring out your protective side, compassionate side, your urge to help, your most selfless feelings of love. But to see it as a turn-on feels really really wrong to me. Definite predator vibe... like women are something to be attacked when weak, not something to be nurtured or capable of nurturing him back.

You know Gunsnhalen...some would say you don't just come across info like this...and even if it's originally from that asian-orientated forum I saw it on...then the question becomes, what is it about your motivations and inclinations that prompted you to post it here?

That was rhetorical, no compulsion to answer...just a thought.

sorry, no. he's twisted and not all right in the head. women have enough in the way of challenges trying to keep self-esteem and personal safety intact without assholes like this out for a quick smash and grab.

This is by Frank Yang, right? I do read some of his FB stuff for entertainment when I´m bored but I just can´t take him seriously because he´s so full of himself and comes across as rather assholish.

This being said, he does have a point, but the way he sees it he sounds like a predator and selfish little asshole, and the last part about chemo patients is just disturbing.

Maybe he´s a nice person in real life if you´re friends with him but his online persona is not very likeable, to put it mildly.

And what´s with that part about girls fantasizing about their ex while having sex with him? Dude comes across as very weird, and some of the stuff he posts could have been written by some of those "pick up artist" douchebags who think they´re the shit when they´re clearly not. lol

.

I like some of the things he posts though...but not a lot.

Yup! it is indeed by Frank Yang. Who at times is hella pretentious, and tries hard. But what he said in the first part has merit. A certain vulerability as Lammatide said can be attractive. I know quite a few people who likes it when their lovers cry. Cause their happy all the time, and they like to see something other than happiness.
