Very few machines are sold with Linux pre-installed. Because people don't know what it is, and they have an image of it being geeky or whatever, they may avoid it because of that. But even if it has some version of Win on it, you of course, can, as he said, simply install Linux on TOP of it, by either erasing Win (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ), or alongside it, ie. dual boot. So don't reject a laptop simply because it didn't come with Linux. | |
