What's it going to take before you're ready to make a change?

You know I can tell you how to do it.

Apathy? Depression? sad.

You don't even have to go to the gym.

Start tomorrow by eating 3 fried eggs in butter and a coffee

Lunch have a chicken salad with olive oil and lemon juice dressing

Dinner have a steak and some green vegies sautéed in butter

Does that sound difficult or unpalatable?

I bet if you manage to eat 5 days like this you will lose a kilo.

hmmm

A little bit of both actually.

My depression has been staved off lately as I'm focused on Amsterdam woot! but my appetite has exploded recently. I'm eating like an animal. Maybe it's a seasonal thing.

SO now I'm just controlling portions. Not filling the plate. Today I'm gonna drag myself to the gym.

I'm going to weigh myself again in a week.

You're so cute! lol Proud of you though wink

I learned to take things day by day. If I don't exercise one day or I if eat unheatlhy, I don't beat myself up for that, I just start over the next day. In a little over one year I have lost almost 40 lbs, and I'm loving life right now. 10 more lbs and I will be right where I want to be.

Controlling portion size means you will have to depend on willpower.
Which is extremely difficult, especially when you're depressed.
You end up just setting yourself up for failure!
And then you feel even worse cry
Sugar (the fructose component) starts up your appetite hormone but disables your satiety hormone. You will have a super hard time fighting that with willpower alone.

But like I said, when you're ready talk to me.
You can ease into it without a huge effort, and the less difficult something seems the bigger your chance of adopting it and sticking to it long term.

Chips are hard to walk away from, so I have a no chip policy in the house. It also helps to remember that the chips share some of the same ingredients that embalming fluid contains. (Except organic ones.)

ALSO, if you brush your teeth and tongue when you get a craving (of whatever). You will cease to have that craving.

Hi=) 136lbs this morning. The only frustrating thing is that I put so much effort into it and the progress seems so slow that I decided to weigh myself once a week instead of twice just to see some change in numbers lol T_T Hope everyone's doing great!!

I don't even own a scale... it's all about how you look and how you feel!

Some people might have heavy bones and look and feel great with lots of weight, others might have reached their weight target but still look fat.

I wonder if there is a way of telling how much boobies weigh???
I think mine weigh 4kilos

62 kilos is great for me and I feel much better than when I was 55 kilos and that wasn't that long ago - at 68 kilos I was not happy and very uncomfortable with my weight and health

I don't want to go under 60 kilos and I don't want to go over 65 - anything in between is great!

cool

I'm still 65!!!

I do enjoy the fact that I won over my chocolate addiction.

And only had honey in my tea once!

No coffee at all anymore.

I was actually doing very good, 63.8 at one point.

Then I went to a seminair, ran into an old friend, and we went to a cafe afterwards, and had french fries with mayonaise, and fried calamari.

Really great evening.

Really great effect on the scale next morning.

O well, I prefer a good night with a friend, and indulge myself now and then, above being thin but boring.

I guess the one thing I achieved after 5 weeks is that I did not gain weight. confused

I do feel more energized though. And I still keep a positive attitude about getting a slim body again.

Got down to 66 last weekend but have fluid retention all week.
