Aint we lucky we got “Good Times”? Antenna TV (Channel 50.2 in Washington, DC or check your cable guide) is commemorating the 40th Anniversary of one of its top shows, Good Times. Premiering on February 8, 1974 as a spin-off of Maude, Good Times lasted 6 seasons and was nominated for six Golden Globes.

Antenna TV’s marathon begins at 1pm on Saturday, February 8th and features 12 hours of Good Times‘ most popular episodes.

More specials coming up this year on Antenna TV include: the “Dreamboats of Antenna TV” Valentine’s Day marathon on February 14th, a Western movie week during the week of March 10th, and a day of favorite episodes chosen by viewers using a bracket challenge on April 1st. Antenna TV will continue to bring fun and exciting specials throughout all of 2014.

And, in case you want to sing along….

OPENING THEME LYRICS

Good Times.
Any time you meet a payment. – Good Times.
Any time you need a friend. – Good Times.
Any time you’re out from under.

I just discovered ME TV about two weeks ago. I was channel surfing and stumbled across it. I mainly watch it for Thriller, Columbo and The Alfred Hitchcock Hour.
