This scene is probably my ALL TIME favorite acting scene, it's like, when you see THIS, and then you see him doing Lincoln or the guy in Last of Mohicans, you just can't believe, HE LITERALLY became Plainview as it was written in the script.. A legendary performance.

Yes, I agree that Charlene was awesome in Monster. As for Dennis the Menace, it's a kids movie but I just love Walter in it. The boy that plays Dennis is priceless too. Not an Oscar worthy movie by no means, but funny and cute.

Yes, agree 100% though I still love him his portrayal of the character in both films. In the first Godfather, I love his transformation from civilian turned powerful head of an organized crime empire. In the second Godfather, it was all about Michael's ruthlessness. His coolness and calmness in handling his "business" is what makes me so attracted to his character. Pacino had the genius ability to portray this otherwise cold hearted criminal into a character that you still admired even though he was technically the "bad guy". If you get my drift. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Performancewise there are just way too many actors and scenes (or whole films) to list here, but Al Pacino in The Godfather will always be one of my favorites, or Larry Fishburne in Boyz N Tha Hood as Furious Styles, Stallone in Rocky I and VI (there, I said it
And of course, the great James Earl Jones ...

That´s a great list. I completely forgot about most of those great movies you mentioned on your list. Tom Cruise strikes me as a talented, very dedicated and hardworking actor and I can´t understand all the hatred or rather dislike he gets because I totally seperate between the actor and the person. However, as good as he is, I also don´t get why some people think he´s a genius. (Not you in particular, I ´m just saying....you either read a lot of extremely negative views on him, or extremely over the top flattering stuff).
Selma Hayek was brilliant in Frida!
And Dog Day Afternoon....great movie. It´s been a while since the last time I watched it. " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Gary Cooper in Meet John Doe
James Stewart in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
