What's the longest you've ever gone without showering/bathing?

I'm going on 3 days now and it feels great. I'm getting lots of important stuff done!

P.S. Normally, I clean up daily. This is an unusual thing for me.

Is it true that in England you don't have indoor plumbing so you shower out in the yard under a hose? confused

P.S. What's a "loo"? Is that like "lol"

We don't have showers here in the U.K. We stand out in the rain, take a bar of soap and shower out in the street for all to see! It really is quite liberating! lol

Loo is a slang term!

When I was in 8th grade, I finally got the chickenpox and it was so bad I think I went a good five or six days!!! omfg

My poor dad! He didn't know what to do. He bought me Ren and Stimpy comic books and rented about 30 movies. I was on the couch (except when I peed and stuff) for like a week. I thought I was going to die. I probably smelled worse lol
Oh shit, my hat done fell off

The longest I've ever gone without bathing was when we went to the Glastonbury Festival in 2000. I went 4 whole days! I washed my face and brushed my teeth every day, but we picked our camp site when we first got there and it turned out the showers were all the way across the site, which is something like 300 square acres big.
Our last night was the worst. After Bowie finished his set (YAY BOWIE!) we went back, packed up our stuff and took the first shuttle off the premises to the train station at like 3am and had to wait til about 6am for the first train back to London. When we got into Paddington we still had a few hours before our rooms would be ready at the hostel we were staying in so we just sat on the floor of Paddington in our 4 days of filth for a few hours. We must have looked like crazy dirty homeless rock fans. No wonder they hate American tourists. wink
When we FINALLY got to check in, I was lucky enough to find a private bathroom with a bathtub that was sparkling clean (a rare thing to find in a youth hostel!). I took 2 baths in a row. One to soak, then I let out all the water, cleaned out the tub, and drew a fresh bath. Ahhh heaven.

I'm thinking, possibly 2-3 nights... while camping where there was no access to running water.
I am a clean freak, I bathe at least 2 times a day... more if I feel it's necessary.

I shower every day. I have never gone two days in a row without washing myself.

When my mom was in college, the only time she missed class was when the hot water heaters in the dorms were broken so she couldn't shower.

That's where I get it.

I was in the hospital for 20 days last year and was not allowed to shower because I had an I.V. I could do sponge baths but still felt completely disgusting!!!

I think I have you all beat! When I was in the Scouts we went away on a week long camping trip. I was about 11 years old. When we got there we encountered all kinds of problems, one of them being that there was no hot water at all. This camp was taking place in winter in the south of England so you can imagine how cold it was! Well, all the kids in my tent decided we would hold out as long as we could for fear of diving in a freezing cold shower in the middle of winter! We got up to the third or fourth day and then forced the fat smelly kid to shower, whether he liked it or not! Then another day passed and we decided enough was enough (remember we were in the outdoors, playing in mud and rain constantly) and it was time to shower. So we went down to the showers in our swimming trunks (as you do!) and got in and turned the showers on. Nothing happened. The water had either all been used up or had frozen or some crap like that. We all had to wait another 2 days until we went home until we could shower! You should have seen the looks on our mum's faces when we arrived back after 6 days in the mud with no showers! Classic! lol

In my lifetime? I don't know. But I'm sure I haven't missed my daily shower in years... it's part of my morning routine, and until I take it, I feel "dirty."
