I'm not a Broncos fan, but I'm a Peyton Manning fan, so needless to say I was little down about the game. So it was a nice pick-me-up to see Prince on a sitcom of all places. However, I couldn't help but notice something......Every time Peyton Manning reaches the Super Bowl, Prince's name seems to be in the mainstream media related to the game or the conference championship games leading up to it. And it seems to be getting worse for Peyton:

Super Bowl XLI: Prince performs at halftime, Manning's Colts beat the Bears 29-17.

Super Bowl XLIV: Prince releases the much-panned "Purple and Gold" for his Vikings leading up to the NFC championship game against the Saints. The Vikings would lose, and the Saints went on to beat Peyton's Colts in the Super Bowl 31-17.

Super Bowl XLVIII: Prince guest stars on "New Girl" directly following the Super Bowl,
and we all know what happened: Seahawks beat Manning's Broncos 43-8.
