Wunderlist: I would think that most of you know this one, but (just in case)... To-do lists.

Byline: RSS reader

Video D/L: Can download and play back vids from YouTube, etc.

SiriusXM: Satellite radio. With sub, you can listen to over 150 specialty channels, plus download shows and/or listen to them on demand.

Megabytes: Tells you how much cell data you have left in your current billing cycle.

Timer: Can have multiple timer pre-sets.

SpeakEasy: Voice memos. I prefer this to Apple's, as it can go directly into record and the large buttons, etc., make it easy to use when driving.*

Shazam: Again, I figure most of you are familiar with this, but... You can hold it up to any music source and it will identify the song playing.


*Of course, you should never be handling your phone when you're driving (actually, you shouldn't be having phone conversations, either - that's a dangerous distraction)! I have a charging cradle (I swear by these guys: http://www.proclipusa.com).

If it's an iPhone, press your home button and power button at the same time. This will put a screen capture in your Photos.

The first image is of my main computer and the second one is of the backup.

On my keyboard its on the right side of the main bunch of key letters. My PRNTSC button is right next to the F12 button. Next 2 the Scroll lock and the pause/ Break button. In addition to saying 'PRT SCRN' the button might say 'SYS RQ', as well.


If its an laptop, the button should be next to the, 'NUM LK/SCR LK', or 'F12' button.

This is my screen. I don't use many of these apps. I don't use foursquare anymore (I should delete). The only other one is the Minneapolis 311 app that I use to report things that need taking care of around town. You can use it to report pot holes, graffiti, sidewalks that aren't shoveled, that kinda thing. You can even take a pick and just have GPS stamp it and a report is filed that you can track to see when it's taken care of.

And in case you're wondering this is the background. It's my lovely bf, a pic taken within the first few months of dating. He hates it, but I think it's cute.
