Gunsnhalen	New Community Tonight It's Troy's last episode Anyone watching? i know a few of you on the org are fans. RodeoSchro	I DVR'ed it and will watch it this weekend. I won't miss Troy. That Abed/Troy dynamic went from cool to kind of funny to just plain weird.

I think everything has gotten better this season. Season 4, while i don't hate it like others do. It was a mess eek the sendoff for Troy was pretty funny and poignant.

I didn't like season 4 because they tried to make us care about the characters at the expense of the comedy. To me, Rule #1 of a Comedy is - YOU SHOULD NEVER CARE ABOUT A CHARACTER AT THE EXPENSE OF THE COMEDY.

Winger and his dad don't get along? So what! Not funny! Pierce didn't get along with his dad? So what! Not funny!

I think no show followed Rule #1 better than "Cheers". They NEVER went for the sympathy angle at the expense of the comedy.
