These national top 20 songs were used in the movie:

"A Horse With No Name" - America - #1

"Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?" - Chicago - #7

"I Saw The Light" - Todd Rundgren - #16

"I Feel Love" - Donna Summer - #6

"Delilah" - Tom Jones - #15

"Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" - Elton John - #2

"Papa Was A Rollin' Stone" - The Temptations - #1

"Evil Ways" - Santana - #9

"How Can You Mend A Broken Heart" - The Bee Gees - #1

"Live And Let Die" - Paul McCartney & Wings - #2

Not all from 1978 sure, but radio always plays recurrents so older hits from the 70s I think fit right in.

My point exactly!

Sure, those songs were played from time to time in 1978. But the odds of hearing all those songs in any particular week, or even month, were pretty dang low. Like I said, that soundtrack just doesn't represent what we were listening to in 1978.

That's very nitpicky. You must have a problem with almost every period soundtrack because I've never known them to be so specfic to include only music that was released or a hit at the exact time the story takes place.
