This is how I see it. I know where my genitals have been and when I last cleaned them and what I've done with them SINCE I've cleaned them. Most public restrooms...I don't know. I feel more confident NOT touching anything in most restrooms than touching those surfaces to wash my hands.

On top of that...my gentials probable have less germs on them than most any surface in any public area...probably less germs than the face of your cell which is to routinely adjacent to your mouth.

yeah I have said the same thing. We should wash our hands before.

But I also so not see the need for sinks and urinals

okay, no. let's take a look at this charming little custom. how long have we been shaking hands when we meet people, and why? if i remember correctly from my useless store of trivie, handshakes originally came about because we showed strangers a measure of goodwill by demonstrating to them that we were not holding a knife/sword. we extended our emopty, unarmed hand and shook hands. this is why left handed people were traditionally called 'sinister' from the latin word which means 'left handed' because they could shake hands AND stab someone. also, back then, a lot of folks wore gloves, so the risk of disease or other transmission was lesser.

to sum up i think we need to eveolve away from shaking hands. it's a primitive, unecessary custom and needs to go. also, i will never, ever be able to fade that mental image up above. going forward it will haunt me every time i shake hands forever

reminds me of the time I rubbed the tip of my penis all over the butts of my unsmoked ciggarettes. I did this so that everytime my broke ass roommate asked to bum yet ANOTHER ciggarette from me...i would get at least some enjoyment out of it.
