How Many of You Can Keep Your New Years Resolutions

1. Are they hard to keep?

2. You don't bother?

3. They are unrealistic resolutions?

I usually give up.

I'm going to try really hard this year, though...

Things come in time. I don't make resolutions anymore, but rather a list of things that I need to do, period. I find that when I put a time limit on myself, I'm less likely to meet it than I do when I just say it needs to be done without an expiration date. biggrin

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I try to set goals, not resolutions, at the beginning of the year. As long as I come up with plans to accomplish each goal, I'm generally successful.

The old cliche, "No one plans to fail, they just fail to plan" really applies to me. If I don't make a plan, I don't get to where I want to go.

That's what I do as well. I set objectives at the beginning of the year, not really any different than the way you'll set objectives for the year at work.

I had four goals for 2013 - I achieved two of them, didn't quite make a third one but came quite close, and failed on the fourth but that was due to things I can't control. If I was conducting my own review, I'd rate me a solid contributor and give me a not-overly generous cost of living increase.

Mine is to not make or keep any resolutions... which will create a paradox and undo all of existence!

I'm not one to make resolutions really.

But this year I'm gonna give it a try.

As many of you know, I've spent the last 4 years threatening to get in shape, with mixed results.

So...I've decided that 2014 is the year I lose the gut.

Wow - good luck!

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I don't actually have them or sit down and think of any

But every year I do work hard on improving my life and myself
I think of ways to be a better person and mostly I do fulfill or at least attempt to do so!
