Valentine day

So, have you planned a surprise for your lover already?

I just got the letter that my third court case about the divorce will be held on valentine day.

Right.

Somehow, I don't think this year's valentine is going to be romantic for me.

What would be your dream valentine day?

I personally think its silly to have one day to profess your love to someone.... Its just another Hallmark holiday for the retail market to guilt people into buying stuff...

If my husband only gave me gifts or flowers or was nice to me on one day, I would think our marriage would be a pretty shitty one...

Sorry to poop on your party but Ive never understood specified "Days" like this....

If your situation is finalized once & for-all, then it should be a cause to CELEBRATE.

he has more money than me, so he probably wins in the end. It's not a matter of justice, it's a matter of wich lawyer you can pay. I hope I'll be able to get over the whole thing.

However, I doubt that I ever will. I guess it's just part of life to learn to accept that bad people win. They are willing to fight dirty, and go beyond any civililty and dignity.

I hope I will be able to accept that one day. Allthough I find that hard, and can't imagine I can one day.

I have this idealized phantasy about you and your hubby, somehow I expected that the two of you would celebrate valentines day. Just as the toppoing on your delicious wedding cake smile

i love valentine's day! it's my favorite holiday, but i'm one of those people that loves decorating the house for most holidays anyways. for me it's not just about flowers, chocolates and hallmark cards, for me it's a special day to go above and beyond for that special someone in your life. and that doesn't have to mean materialistic items, or money bought items. i think people take it way too serious and it's a day to have fun with.

i understand that this day can also be very sad and depressing for some folks too...and i am compassionate about that. it's hard to have fun on that day if you're feeling lonely.

be kind, be a friend, not a bully.

I treat my wife like a queen everyday.

We both hate going out to dinner on Valentines day for the cringe factor. Every table is full of couples either cheasily gazing into each other's eyes (new couples) or awkwardly trying to fill the silence (older couples) and then there's the staff who you just know hate you all because they aren't with thier loved one or are single and if one more couple drink champagne from thier intertwined arms they'll vomit.

If we do something special, I'll surprise her with a picnic (it's summer here) of fine foods. Lobster, oysters, champagne etc. Then we go home and I'll try to get my leg over.

If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

That is one thing about Justice...it may be "blind" but not to the color green. (Or whatever color your currency is.)

dJJ - at the end of the day, you want your peace of mind, so I pray that whatever the outcome may be, you find that peace and the happiness that comes with it.

I haven't even begun my filing (very long story) but I'm making 2014 my year of ending it.

Agreed. Going to a restaurant is not very original, nor are silly materialstic things to proof that you love eachother.

Doing all the chores in advance, setting up the house for a smooth massage and a happy ending, is so much more romantic, isn't it.

See it's people like you that ruined it for the rest of us. You lovers of decorating for any reason under the sun. Troublemaker.

Valentine's day 2014 for me will be the same as it's always been the past few years: Just another day where I'll buy flowers for myself and watch fools spend money on things that will be half off the next day.

I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.
