Id say the damage is already done to the waterbuffalo and probably is dead. The Most Important Thing In Life Is Sincerity....Once You Can Fake That, You Can Fake Anything.

99% of my posts are ironic. Maybe this post sides with the other 1%.

Did you listen to the commentary?? "All the animals walked away without injury." [Edited 12/19/13 14:32pm]

I've seen a zebra rare back mid-stride and conncet with both hind legs to the jaw of it's pursuer. The poor lion then starved to death because it couldn't eat with a broken jaw. Too lazy to look for it right now, but I'm an avid Natgeo/Discovery/Wildlife show watcher.

That lioness stood no chance.

I saw that one, love it. Love the way animals will come to the aid of babies, others of their species, even run defense for others . I saw one the other day, where lions tried to weaken a calf, but the mother fought them off, but the commentator said when the calf gets back to the herd, and they smell the blood, they will go for blood. . Early the next morning they swam (like 50) over to the land the lions were and went to work.

Speaking of, I remember seeing something on Animal Planet in which a lioness had basically stopped one of the buffalo but instead the buffalo, about 50 strong, confronted the lioness and her gang and basically pushed them away. It was fascinating to see.

To prevent injuries or a serious ass whipping, prides of lionesses usually prey on the weakest in the herds. It's almost always an act of desperation for them to do otherwise. Waterbuffalo's are some strong, mean mofos when healthy. [Edited 12/23/13 8:19am]

Hence why I said those army of buffalos surrounding the lionesses. They weren't willing to let the lioness have her way with the injured calf.

I'm just sitting here thinking, that kids who grow up seeing these kinds of thing everyday in their backyard so to speak have a different prespective on life than those who are basically introduced to "wildlife" through say say cartoon animals or the zoo. Its rough out there in the jungle, for everybody.
