I'm after some new headphones.....
For me Ipod. Now I was gonna go down the Beats Audio route but apparantly (according to Amazon) they're shit.
So what do I go for ?

Beats are a base sound, ok if u like hip hip, dance music etc Synthesizers headphones for all genre. This info provided by someone I know that is an acoustic expert that sell the speakers to most headphones manufacturers on the market today. | |

To put it bluntly Beats are horrible and a waste of money at that price point, there are many other headphones far superior. I've been chasing sound for over 40 years; Beats are a marketing gimmick. (IMHO) We had a thread a year ago about headphones, if I can find it I'll post it.
Allow your ears to be the judge, do a blind test them against the 35 buck Kross headphones and come back an tell me which ones sound good.

I am old and have hearing issues... but if you are going to listen to MP3 does a $100 pair really sound better than a $10 Pair? (go easy on me if there is: i did once have a aiwa tape player that sounded amazing! Until there was a short in the plug hole and despite getting it repaired they were never the same and the head phones did not sound as good in any other system. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!" |

Koss (Kross) makes great headphones on the cheap and Shure makes quality headphones too. They are a little more expensive but the sound quality is great! Seinnheiser makes wonderful headphones too with Shure type price points.
