The delicacies of not being a native English speaker Lately I've been listening to ABC's 1991 album a lot, it's very delicate, typical early 90's club music for hipsters, romantic and obviously made for young, beautiful, rich and happy people (that'd be me ). Then on the song Spellbound I was always wondering why they end the song by singing "When we gonna learn to turn this mother out?". I mean that's a bit of a gross statement to make on such an aristocratic record, isn't it? So finally I checked the lyrics online and it's in fact... "When we gonna learn to turn this world around?".
Ah... OK... Makes sense now... A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/ | |
