Indecent proposal or your lucky day

I suppose this question is mainly for men. If a woman you just began dating suggested the two of you have a strictly sexual relationship, would you be offended/disappointed or jump at the chance?

lol you're putting words in my mouth. i just don't think that a "strictly sexual relationship" would be very interesting.

well, if we take the STRICTLY sexual thing to the extreme, I guess that includes general muteness, yeah

Isn't that called the booty call? I'm guessing that kind of thing is only frustrating to the guy when the girl is exceptionally attractive and doesn't want anyone to see her with him, outside of that (unless hes crushing on the girl) its no big problem.

OK...since we all know that a purely sexual relationship is pretty much most guy's dream, I guess what you really mean is; "If you started dating a girl AND began to have feelings for her but then she turned around and told you that she only wants you for sex..."

shrug

I guess it depends on how attached I'd gotten. Would I be jealous knowing she's with other guys? Would I feel rejected by the fact that she doesn't want me for anything other than smashing?

wink

Yes, I suppose having real feelings for the woman may be one of the only reasons a man might be put off by that proposition. Very insightful answer.

If a guy I was dating told me that he is only interested in a sexual relationship with me, and I was
actually interested in more and thought he was as well, I would be pissed. Waste my time on a
motherfucker and he just wants to smash... mad

This would be a conversation that needed to happen very early on, when we discuss what we are
looking for and where we hope the dating leads.

I have sung Feel You Up to a guy I was pursuing. He and I both knew what the score was from the
jump. I didn't want to date him or meet his mama or birth his brats...I just wanted to touch his
body. He was fine as fuck and could hold a conversation, but I really didn't want anything else
from him. He wanted a lot more than I could provide and was convinced that he could change my
mind. We made a bet and he lost. lol

Sex only relationships can be very interesting, and very fulfilling. I've known a guy for over 12 years and we would have sex once or twice a week when I was single. I have no romantic feelings for him what so ever. It was so convenient and easy, no drama. My sexual needs were being met on a regular basis and that was great.

well, I guess my lifestyle is actually "fuck buddies"

if this thread is about STRICTLY sexual relationships (no data, no feedback, no jokes, just wordless sexual acts) then that's not me...

For the record I could never sleep with someone that I didn't know really well. We started off as friends, started to hang out a fair amount then spent a drunken night together and that started it all. Eventually we drifted apart as friends but still slept together because that was always fun.

no i didn't YOU put words in my mouth, defensively. i have no proplem with fuck buddies, but for me, i'd rather not have a strictly sexual relationship. that doesn't mean i'm putting you down, it just means i'm not you. we aren't even the same age for cryinout lol

I used the term "strictly" very loosely. I simply meant no commitment. I definitely couldn't just have sex with someone who I had absolutely no connection with beyond the physical. At least, I don't think I could.

I think if both parties can handle that this is just sex and nothing more, then go for it.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

I'd have sex with her, but I wouldnt treat her as anything complex or special between us. (Not in a rude way)

You can have sex with anyone really, so it doesnt make it much to be lucky about.

Plus after a while if thats all there is to the person its pretty empty/pointless and boring after a while.

It all depends on how much I liked her. If I wanted to talk & hang out, then I would probably end up feeling slighted and ultimately end it. But if she wasn't the one, and she didn't mind me finding someone else to fall in love with, then for a while it would be just great!
