A good day 4 simple pleasures Although this thread will probably die a slow and painful death, I had rather a good day 4 simple pleasures. Id been on my lunch break and an old lady had left her purse on the bench we were sat on, I ran after her and gave it back. She was ever so greatful which made me feel good.
Sly has just sent me an Orgnote saying thanx 4 giving them a link for Prince bootlegs. Unecessary but sweet! Im having a Guiness now, later followed by wine. Which in turn will make me feel good. Ahhh simple pleasures!

Simple pleasures of the day... I got paid (that's always nice), I shopped, I played with Barbie for hours and then switched over to Hot Wheels (my personal favorite), my car started each and every time, and I had an Apple Cobbler.

I had a bit of worry today disappear in a heartbeat - it was just awesome.
a mystery leak appeared from an old, strange valve in the basement a few days ago and I was hoping it wasn't going to get a lot worse. But my father-in-law and cousin Pete the Pipefitter showed up today and in the space of 5 minutes had the old pipe sawed off, and a new one threaded on. It was about $200 worth of free labor and parts. Damn, am I happy with those guys. It's a good day to be alive, people! | |
