I've missed that show! Does it still come on HBO? Is Phyllis Montana LaBlanc still a part of the cast? She was my favorite on "When the Levies Broke."
Netflix has the past seasons. That's how I ended up watching it.
Treme is entering its final season, premiering December 1. I believe PML is still on the show.
I'm not fully versed on the 1st season or so of the show, but there's a treasure trove of Emmy-worthy performances in it. ESPECIALLY Clarke Peters as Big Chief. |

The Walking Dead, American Horror Story: Coven and True Blood are the only three series that I regularly watch.
I do occasionally binge on others -- namely, Elemental, The Wire, Dead Like Me and Bored to Death. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

The only things I watch with consistency is Masterpiece Theater. If its not a movie channesl without commercials I don't bother much with TV these days. I've tried to watch some stuff on HBO but their schedule seem to be whenever they get around to airing/shooting something. I don't bother with cable, I look at movies on XBMC, which are free. |

mostly sci-fi/horror theme shows, and there is alot more on TV now a days then I was a kid. You be lucky if there was one on the air. Most sci-fi shows back in the 70's/80's lasted maybe one season. But X-Files and Star Trek The Next Generation changed all that. |

I'm with you on that. I despise ads. Mostly just watch movies. I was so pissed the other night when I selected an On Demand movie and the damn ads for hair club for men came on and then popped up on the screen during the movie. I remember when cable first came out it was hyped as non-commercial tv. What a joke.
People kept telling me to watch Walking Dead and Breaking Bad but I just don't have time. I try to limit myself to a few. I did watch two episodes of Masters of Sex and loved it but just don't have time. I may start watching Banshee.
I watch Sleepy Hollow but mute the ads.
American Horror
True Blood
Dracula (mute ads)
Night Gallery every night on MeTV. Star Trek every Saturday night at 9 and Offbeat Cinema on Saturdays. I love creepy old horror films.

I've never seen that before. What is your cable provider that allows ads in the middle of On Demand films?

I don't watch TV shows very often. I'm a movie watcher when I have time.

Homeland is the only show I watch regularly.

I know. I was shocked. It's Comcast. Ads are on now before EVERY OnDemand movie. But this one had the little side logo for Hair Club pop up during the movie. Hell even at the theater you have to sit through tons of commercials now. I think I'm going to cancel this mess and stick to Netflix movies. Although I'm quite sure they'll be invaded soon.

Shows currently on the air I don't watch, but would like to at a later date:
Sons of Anarchy (I've seen the first two seasons on disc)
I found seasons three & four on blu-ray for a very cheap price on Black Friday so I'm back in the game with Sons of Anarchy.
The entire first season of Orphan Black is on demand from my cable provider so I may start watching that too. I've read it's good and it isn't over-the-top popular like some other dramas I see mentioned all the time. That appeals to the snob in me.
