NFL 2013 - Are You Ready for Some Football?

Football is back and all is right with the world. Niners, Seahawks, Falcons & Packers should be the favorites in the NFC. I like the Broncos, Texans, Colts & Bengals in the AFC.

Giants have a lot of questions to answer - can they rediscover their pass rush, can they get any decent play from the LBs & secondary, can the O-line protect Eli, can they run the fucking ball? But the NFC East is wide open because the other teams have questions too.

Peyton Manning is shredding the Ravens defense. He and Wes Welker look like they've been playing together for ten years. Welker's going to have a sick year.

I'm ready. I know the 49ers have an outstanding football team but don't think

for one minute they are gonna waltz into the Super Bowl. The 49ers and Seahawks are

the class of the division but I'm betting that the Rams will decide which one of those

teams come out division winners and who will finish runner up or possibly slide to

3rd in the NFC West. The Rams are my darkhorse in the NFC if Bradford stays healthy.

I think it's gonna be an up and down year for my Steelers unless their offensive line

show improvement over the course of the season. They also have very little or no depth

behind their starters.

I have Wes Welker on my fantasy football team and I didn't start him because I thought

the Ravens secondary was gonna punish him like they did in the playoffs last year against

New England. mad

For sure but that's just one game. I hate to admit it but those guys still

have a good football team. Ozzie Newsome is one hell of a GM and unlike

Kevin Colbert he doesn't bring useless beaten dead horses back to the stable

cough Willie Gay, Bryant McFadden, Matt Spaeth and miss badly on middle round picks or

even second picks in the draft. It would also be nice if they learn to draft a legitimate

LT for their franchise qb. SMDH

I'm going to take it one game at time, I'm not sure what the Bears are going to do. I'm standing in line to have my clear see through bag checked as I type... this is a pain in the ass. No, I don't think it makes us any safer. neutral

Actually he didn't do much read option in this game at all, but he still beat the Packers with his arm. I think so many teams focused so much on the read option that the Niners wanted to show they could still win with a more conventional offense.

As for some observations on the day games, my Bears pulled out a gutsy win against a good Bengals team. woot! excited highfive dancing jig Amazing what Jay Cutler can do when he has a halfway decent offensive line, though he's still learning Marc Trestman's offense. The Patriots pulled out a victory over the Bills, but they still have a long road ahead of them if they expect to contend for the Super Bowl. The Jets got so lucky at the end of the game, whew but Tampa Bay was so undisciplined they almost deserved to lose. But the Steelers are f@#&*d!!! Especialy now that their center is all but out for the season. omg omfg sad bawl faint

Todd Haley can't make chicken salad out of chicken shit. None of their offensive linemen fits the zone blocking scheme but Pouncey and DeCastro and he took Pouncey out for the year by attempting a dumb ass chop block on a player Pouncey already had engaged. Are you ready to see Guy Whimper get some pt at tackle? lol
The defense can't bail this pathetic offense out week after week. No matter who the skill players are if the oline stinks the offense stinks.

2nd place in the division behind the Packers. They may be even better than a couple of teams in the overhyped NFC East but I don't see them as a threat to the
49ers,Packers,and Seahawks for NFC supremacy.

The Giants better find their footing fast because the Cowboys ain't jokin...three turnovers by the giants already in the first quarter.

Oh snap! the giants just intercepted and ran the ball all the way back to the one yard line...first and goal! eek

And guess who tonight's special social media guest is!

DREW freakin' PEARSON!!! The love of my life... excited
