I finally watched this last night. Visually, it's just incredible. I'm SO glad the VFX are done in India, they've done us proud.

It might be a bit late, but..... did anyone here like it?

I saw it on the Big screen last year. I liked the movie and the special effects. I don't feel Ang Lee should have won the Oscar for "Best Director".

Enjoyed it very much.

Come on, he had to direct the action between an actor and a tiger which wasn't actually there!

I have no idea what the competition was, though.

The special effects were awesome.

I loved it. The book was even better.

Wonderful, imaginative film... our family enjoyed it very much!

I still haven't seen it, but I liked the book quite a bit. I am looking forward to it, since the movie was so well received

I'm not knocking what he had to accomplish with a green screen.."Best Direction" should have gone to "Beasts of the Southern Wild" or "Silver Linings Playbook"..

Really enjoyed it... but it was better in 3D in the theater for the imaginative and dramatic visual moments (like the ship underwater). There were moments that left me gasping, but at home without 3D, these were just regular effects shots.
