Aren't any of you worried that someone ciould use this info to steal your identity? Some of you have posted your birthdays (including how old you are) in this forum, and now where you were born, on this thread.

Maybe we should start a thread "What's your soc. number?" razz

The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

I guess it depends on how much of your info is already out there. I would hope that it wouldn't be that easy to find but I suppose if someone is really intent on finding it, they will.

It's one thing to casually mention it as an aside in another thread but to post it in a thread called "What city were you born in?" seems to be a big invitation to for identity thieves.

I'm super paranoid about my online stuff though...

Maybe, I don't remember! lol I definitely don't like to reveal too much personal info. I also google my name every so often to make sure nothing weird shows up. I recently volunteered at an event for my alma mater and explicitly said I did not want my photo taken or used in connection with the event. A day later, my picture shows up on the alumni Twitter feed. mad Yes, I did email the alumni office and make them remove it!

I think it was in reference to filling out forms that ask for gender info. You may have said you refuse to check either male or female box and it's none of the inquirer's business. lol

If someone stole my identity, they couldn't do SHIT with it. I have some pretty shitty credit. It might actually give me a chance to dispute some things...lol.

Now if they used it to see what tumbles in my tumblr....that's a different story.

You got it! I even forgot I put that in my profile, so I guess it is good to keep in mind what info you leave on the net. But none of this is "classified information" or anything. If I don't like to share personal stuff, I just don't.

Sometimes I even have my number on my profile....no one ever calls it. One orger did call it all drunk. But they got the number off of Facebook...not here. Shy of my passwords, almost everything is on my org profile...put my number back in there just to c what happens... lol ...though I may not lol in a month or so. I think most don't even look at them.
