Home ownership How many orgers out there own their own homes? (this includes homes that still have a mortgage to pay)
Who rents their homes? In Australia it is a goal of neraly everyone (known as the great Australian dream) to own their own home. Do people from the US, Canada, UK and other European countries also have this goal? I certainly get the impression that it is not all that important in the US. i've been rentin an apartment 4 the past year...i ain't really interested in ownin my own home at this point in time (i'm only 22)...maybe someday i will.

My father rents this house. 3 bedrooms, two bath, kitchen, dining room, living room, etc...for $300 a month.
It's a pretty good deal, sits on an acre of land. -------
