I use KickAss Torrents. It used to be at kat.ph, but the US media conglomerates had that web address shut down. Don,t worry though; it reappeared at kickass.to.

Interested to hear peoples recommendation. Can't use kickass here in the UK, its been blocked. Mininova doesn't seem to have much content.

Damm! thats 2 bad...i go there alot. there & kickass. lately though...ive been borrowing dvds from the library. it gets me outta the house.

You could always set-up a proxy to get around blocked sites on servers. The powers that be, they'll never shutdown access to whatever people want to watch, listen, or download.

so what is the "newest" way to aquire music? well, maybe you've heard about this new little thingy called online order amazon for example. they have so many CDs that they even sell them!
this really started to boom not to long after Napster, so yes, it is "newer" in that sense.

and Napster & Co? well, it was fun for a while, maybe a whopping 15 minutes and it WAS useful back then, but that was before world wide availability through online-orders. back then when you just couldn't buy many albums at the local record store, when imports where painful to get, or older releases often unavailable. back then downloading was sometimes the last hope. but amazon & co changed that, thankfully, so today there is no need for low quailty (most of the time) shitty downloads

I can see the point though in previewing songs from an album before purchasing the physical copy. but for that there is still itunes and amazon, why download the whole thing???
