a "swift" death....if u will... I was watching Hitchcock... And I was curious to see if his wife was as pretty as having Helen mirren portray her would suggest. While scrolling down his wiki page to locate his wife's link, i saw his cause of death was listed as "too much taylor swift". Now I find this hilarious, but I wanna know...is this a kind of running gag on wiki or is this kind of a one-off?

* In my books there is. Anything after 2 minutes of one of her performances. A little bit of Taylor Swift goes a LONG way. * There's something about that woman that I find kinda spooky.

* I appreciate that she's not all those things (at least what we see). However, my gut tells me that there's more to the (her) story behind the scenes. I would not be surprised if somewhere down the line some news breaks about her that will shock everyone. IMO, I don't find her to be "normal". . . whatever "normal" is. * It's just a creepy feeling I have about her that I can't explain. I've never cared for her. She's always come across as very fake to me. Of course, that could just be me too. I'm just sharing the vibe I get from her. * *

[Edited 10/9/13 14:49pm] I suspect she has a shrine to Wolf Blitzer and she stays skinny as a result of eating kosher in an effort to be sympatico. :kooky:

Actually, keeping kosher won't make or keep you skinny. * I actually found out from an ecommerce site that I sell on that they have been contacted by Swift's legal team (more than once) to let the ecommerce site know that they don't want people even typing her name in their blog posts (or on forums). Honest to God. * Now, I understand that celebrities want their images protected (trademark, etc.) to try and keep people from making money off their physical image, their music etc. Totally understand that. However, not being able to type her name in a blog post or on a forum gets seriously into the WEIRD ZONE and paranoia. I can't even imagine a legal team contacting the head of a company to tell them to make sure that people aren't typing her name in their blog posts and on forums. That's seriously, seriously, over the top. Of course, the ecommerce site doesn't have to do any such thing as blog posts and forums are protected by the 1st amendment. They know that too. That doesn't stop them from threatening though. * If you want to be a celebrity, than having people talk about you (good and bad) on Twitter, FB, blog posts and forums just goes with the territory. If Taylor wants to be such a super control freak and not have anyone talking about her, than she shouldn't be a celebrity. It's really that simple. * I frequent the forums at the ecommerce site as well just to keep up to date on things that I need to know for business and I can promise you that Taylor Swift is mentioned VERY RARELY. And I mean, VERY RARELY (like almost never). So, for her legal team to send them a few notices about it, is really over the top STRANGE! And, if they're doing it to them, obviously, they're contacting a lot more sites as well. You know that they aren't doing it for fun either. They are at Swift''s beck and call and doing what she wants them to do. It's ridiculous and a waste of time. *

[Edited 10/9/13 15:39pm] Serious...if are gonna make money off of the general public and unsolicited advertising....u best tolerate what they got to say. I know about the kosher bit...but I would a had to think of someone other than wolf blitzed...and well...CNN was on my TV and I couldn't think of someone else who would sound creepy paired up with her.

Yeah, I know what you mean. She totally comes off as creepy to me as well and seeing her behaviour at award shows and the like she also comes off totally immature. Plus she's gone through more men in Hollywood/music business - at a very young age. And some of these men are close to 15 years older than she is.

Awesome Taylor Swift moments?
Interesting read on Swift being a role model for young girls:
Despite Conventional Wisdom, Taylor Swift Was Never a Good Role Model for GirlsDespite the conventional wisdom, I’ve never ever thought Taylor Swift was a good role model for girls. . . unless you want your daughter to become an alpha female stalker. And wantonly sleeping around with much older men. And that’s aside from her dreadful and dreadfully overrated (and extremely boring) music. I’m not just talking about recent rumors that she spent $5 million on a Kennedy compound house so she would be near the 18-year-old Kennedy she’s “dating” (euphemism). Or the reports that she crashed a Kennedy wedding, which she was asked to leave (but refused). Over the years, several readers have written to me about what a “wholesome” role model Swift is, contrary to the many pop music skanks I write about. And I’ve had male friends of mine tell me they were relieved when their daughters were fans of her music. One said, “Well, at least my girls don’t idolize the Kardashians.” Thank Heaven for small favors. But I disagreed, as Swift ain’t much better. As I told some of these people, Swift is a psychotic stalker and teaches young girls to whine endlessly about break-ups and publicly embarrass the guys who dumped her after she probably was easily lulled into sleeping with them. None of this is a good example for America’s girls. It’s just low-class . . . and creepy. And, yet, American girls see Swift’s nutjob behavior rewarded with lucrative, glamorous deals, such as her contract with “Cover Girl” cosmetics, etc. Taylor Swift writes songs to publicly embarrass men that dumped her. Much older men that dumped her. Much older men who talk about sex with the girls they date and with whom Taylor Swift was probably not an exception. Swift once “dated” (euphemism) John Mayer (who at 34 is 12 years older than her–she is now 22). She was a teen then. And when he dumped her, she wrote a song about–and against–him. This is a guy who discussed, in graphic detail, sex he’s had with his celebrity girlfriends (he called Jessica Simpson, “sexual napalm”). Most people assume that Swift probably had sex with him, too, especially since she wrote a whiny song attacking him. And Swift dated movie star Jake Gyllenhaal, now 31. It’s speculated that her latest “breakup song,” “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” is about him.
