...you could actually roll-up the tube to get all the toothpaste out?

...you could go to the grocery store without actually SEEING inflation as it's happening?

. . . after chatting & wandering, you needed to spend a half an hour or more readjusting (getting the knotted twists) out of the phone cord coil? lol

YES! lol

I still have a landline phone that I can slam on people if I need to. hmph!

I remember gas at $1.29 a gallon. I was alive when it was cheaper, but that's as low as I remember paying.

Also, I remember buying several packs of Now & Laters AND playing a couple video games on the way to school, for a DOLLAR!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Along the lines of what other people have said.

Remember when...

...you could get 3 or 4 of something for a dollar that actually MATTERED? Like, enough food to actually feed more than one person. lol

OK, how many of you remember:

Party lines

Typewriters

Hoola Hoops

Roller skates you had to have a key for

Bicycles with those big balloon tires

McDonald's fries tasted heavenly because they were fried in beef tallow

Kids who respected their elders

White wall tires

Records

Record players

When Prince was a pup? lol

exclaim Yes and yes!

... getting a hold of a REAL VHS porn, not something that was dubbed over 100 times, was awesome! And you would actually WATCH IT, instead of just clicking through it, checking out small parts, so you could get to another xhamster video?
