The Red Sox clearly lost two games on purpose (via throwing errors) just so they could win the series at home which was something they didn't do in 2004 and 2007. Everything was just about perfect for Boston this year. | |

If that were true I'd be furious!
This year was movie material, and today the parade went down the same street where the bombings occurred. I really wanted them to clinch in St. Louis, but three guys (Breslow, Salty & Middlebrooks) were just awful the whole series.Photos of the parade in Boston yesterday. They are a bit big, sorry. | |

When some of the Red Sox were on Conan the other night, they shared the stage with Artie Lange. It was a very odd combination, but surprisingly Artie was quite complimentary of the Red Sox. wow, didn't venture into the General Discussion thread. Didn't know there were REAL baseball fans up in this mug. well here's my postcript. my Tigers are on punishment. truth be told we should've SWEPT the RedSux in the ALCS, yup SWEPT. eliminate the poorly managed GS to Ortiz and we leave Boston up 2-0. Run support for JV in Game 3 and.... let me stop.
Anywho, hate to see Prince gone, but if he hits, he's still there. hopefully going for defense and speed will pay off, but we gotta find somebody to pitch Miggy honest!
I'm tired of all the personal awards we've accumulated in recent years, 3 MVPs, 2CYs, 3 Batting Titles, one Triple Crown, nice to have, but its like dag, can we bring home the BIG ONE!
