If there is a city that needs a World Series win right now more than any other, it's Detroit.

That's the team I want most to win. And I would love for Crawford and Gonzalez to stick it to the Red Sox with a ring after they left Boston.

It would have been nice to have seen Terry Francona face his old team, the Red Sox in the ALDS, but I think Tampa Bay is a better match against Boston.

Since The Giants are not in it, I'm rooting for A's (they need a new stadium ASAP), Braves, and Pirates.

My thoughts so far:

The Red Sox look unstoppable. mad I thought Tampa Bay had excellent starting pitching, but the Red Sox lineup is swatting them around like they are nothing.

David Price's twitter rant after losing the game on Saturday was so not classy. He came across as a bitter high school jock calling his critics "nerds".

The Braves are hanging their entire season on Freddy Garcia today? I suppose he'll be okay if he pitches around Hanley Ramirez and Yasiel Puig. Those guys are on FIRE.

The Dodgers are still the team I want to see win it all, but I would not be disappointed if Pittsburgh won the NL pennant. Unfortunately if they are playing the Red Sox in the World Series, they don't stand a chance and I predict a Boston sweep. mad

Is it obvious I don't want the Red Sox to win the World Series? mad mad mad lol
